Konus Konusvue 7x50

• 7x50 configuration: The combination of 7x magnification and a 50 mm objective gives this binocular a bright, steady image that is easy to hold by hand for scanning open ground, shoreline, woodland edges, and general outdoor observation.
• Porro prism design: The Porro prism layout delivers the classic binocular shape with strong depth perception and a natural sense of image separation, which helps when judging terrain, movement, and distance in the field.
• Large 7.1 mm exit pupil: A generous 7.1 mm exit pupil helps the view stay comfortable and forgiving, especially in dimmer light and during longer glassing sessions when quick eye placement matters.
• Central focusing system: The central focus arrangement makes it faster to adjust both barrels together, which is practical for following subjects at changing distances without interrupting observation.
• Full-metal body with rubber covering: The metal construction and protective rubber armouring give the binocular a solid feel and a more secure grip, which is useful for regular outdoor use and handling with gloves.

About the Konus Konusvue Series

The Konus Konusvue series sits in Konus's classic binocular range and is built around a straightforward, traditional format for users who want dependable outdoor optics without moving into specialized or oversized designs. Across the series, Konus uses Porro prisms, coated optics, and a central focusing system, giving these binoculars the familiar handling and image character that many hunters and general observers still prefer for daytime field use.

A defining feature of the line is its full-metal construction combined with rubber armouring, a design that favors durability and secure handling over unnecessary complexity. The series includes three models: 7x50, 8x40 wide-angle, and 10x50 wide-angle. This gives the range a clear spread from easier hand-held viewing to higher-magnification observation, while keeping the same basic mechanical layout. All models are tripod-adaptable, so the series can serve both casual use and more deliberate observation from a fixed position. Within the family, the 7x50 stands apart as the non-wide-angle option, aimed at users who value brightness, viewing comfort, and stable hand-held performance.

About the Konus Konusvue 7x50

The Konus Konusvue 7x50 is a traditional 7x50 binocular designed for general outdoor observation where a bright image and easy hand-held use matter more than high magnification. At 7x, the image remains steady and relaxed to view, which is useful for scanning large areas, following movement, or observing for longer periods without the shake that often becomes more noticeable at higher powers. The 50 mm objective lenses gather enough light to keep the image comfortable in overcast conditions, at dusk, or in shaded woodland.

Its Porro prism construction gives the binocular the classic broad-barrel shape and a strong sense of depth, which many users appreciate when reading terrain or separating subjects from the background. The 119.00 m/1000m field of view is well suited to general-purpose glassing, balancing coverage with image scale. A large 7.10 mm exit pupil also makes eye placement less critical, so the binocular is easy to bring up quickly and use comfortably during extended observation.

Mechanically, the binocular keeps things simple with a central focusing system and a single-hinge body, making it straightforward to adjust and carry. The metal housing adds rigidity, while the black exterior and rubber-covered construction used in the series improve grip in everyday field handling. At 750.00 g, it remains substantial enough to feel solid without moving into the bulk of large specialist binoculars. This makes the Konus Konusvue 7x50 a practical choice for hunting optics, general countryside use, and classic all-round observation.

About Konus

Konus was founded in 1979 in Verona, Italy, and has long focused on optics for outdoor use, hunting, and target shooting. The company’s range covers binoculars, riflescopes, and outdoor optics, reflecting a broad specialization in observation and shooting equipment rather than a single niche. Within sporting optics, Konus is also known for riflescope families such as the Konuspro M-30 and T-30, as well as for developing optics with laser-etched reticles.

That background is relevant to a product like the Konus Konusvue 7x50, because it shows the company’s emphasis on practical field optics with straightforward operation and durable construction. Konus Italia Group S.p.A. is based in Settimo di Pescantina, Italy, and the brand has built its reputation around accessible sporting and outdoor optics that cover both observation and shooting applications.
