GPO Sunshade 32 mm

• 32 mm objective fit: This sunshade is made for GPO riflescopes with a 32 mm objective, giving a clean, secure fit without improvised adapters.
• Stray-light reduction: By extending the objective, it helps cut glare and unwanted reflections, which can preserve contrast when shooting toward low sun or bright backgrounds.
• Direct thread mounting: The sunshade screws straight into the objective thread, so installation is simple and the accessory stays properly aligned with the optic.
• Anodized aluminum construction: The aluminum body keeps weight low while adding the durability needed for regular field use on a hunting riflescope.
• SPECTRA 6x compatibility: The 32 mm version is suitable for the SPECTRA 6x 1.5-9x32i, making it a purpose-built accessory rather than a generic add-on.

About the GPO Sunshade Series

GPO Sunshade accessories are built as dedicated add-ons for selected GPO riflescopes, with each version matched to a specific objective size and scope family. Their role is straightforward but useful in the field: they extend the front of the optic to help reduce stray light and lens reflections before they can interfere with the sight picture. That matters most in bright daylight, when low-angle sun, open ground, snow, or pale sky can wash out contrast and make fine aiming detail harder to see.

The series follows the same practical design approach seen across GPO sporting optics. These accessories are made from anodized aluminum and thread directly into compatible objective housings, so they add function without making the riflescope awkward to handle. Because the fit is model-specific, the sunshade sits securely and maintains the clean lines of the optic. Within the GPO lineup, sunshades are intended for hunters and sport shooters who want a simple way to improve image comfort in difficult light without changing the scope’s controls, reticle, or mounting setup.

About the GPO Sunshade 32 mm

The GPO Sunshade 32 mm is the version intended for the SPECTRA 6x 1.5-9x32i. On a compact riflescope like this, a correctly sized sunshade is especially useful because it adds glare protection without undermining the scope’s balanced handling. The extension at the objective helps shield the front lens from direct overhead and low-angle light, which can improve perceived contrast and reduce distracting reflections when shooting in open terrain, on bright days, or from positions where the sun cannot be avoided.

Its direct screw-in mounting keeps installation simple and repeatable. Once fitted, the sunshade becomes a neat continuation of the objective rather than a loose accessory that can shift under recoil or transport. The use of high-quality anodized aluminum keeps the part light and resistant to wear, so it suits a field rifle that is carried regularly. For hunters and shooters using the 1.5-9x32i as a compact all-round optic, this accessory supports more consistent viewing conditions while preserving the scope’s practical, streamlined character.

About GPO

German Precision Optics (GPO) was founded in 2015 by former optics-industry executives and specialists. The company is based in Inning am Ammersee, near Munich, Germany, and focuses on sporting optics for hunting, nature observation, and sport shooting. GPO designs and engineers its products in Germany, with a product range that includes riflescopes, red-dot sights, binoculars, spotting scopes, and laser rangefinders.

Within its riflescope offering, PASSION and SPECTRA are the main product lines. This background is relevant to accessories such as the Sunshade 32 mm, because GPO develops matching components around specific optics rather than treating them as generic add-ons. The result is a more integrated fit across the company’s hunting optics and shooting equipment.
