GPO Rangeguide 3400 10x50

• Binoculars and Laser Rangefinder in One: The RANGEGUIDE™ 3400 10×50 combines 10× binoculars, a laser rangefinder and an angle calculator in a single housing, so you can observe, identify and range a target without switching between devices.
• 3,400 m Maximum Range: The rangefinder measures up to 3,400 m (3,700 yd) on highly reflective objects, up to 1,000 m on trees and up to 700 m on deer, while the minimum range of 3 m also covers very short distances.
• Hyperscan Mode: In scan mode, the laser takes four measurements per second, so the reading updates almost continuously while you follow moving game or sweep across the terrain.
• SLOPE / TRUE RANGE and BEST / LAST: Angle measurement with true range calculation helps when shooting uphill or downhill, while BEST/LAST target logic helps you get the right reading when branches or grass sit in front of the target.

ABOUT THE GPO RANGEGUIDE SERIES

The GPO RANGEGUIDE™ series is GPO's line of rangefinding binoculars, built for hunters, sport shooters and outdoor users who want both a quality optical image and precise distance measurement in one device. Carrying one instrument instead of separate binoculars and a rangefinder saves weight and time in the field, and there is no need to switch devices at the moment a distance needs to be checked.

The series combines GPO's HD optical design, focused on brightness, resolution, colour fidelity and edge-to-edge sharpness, with an integrated laser rangefinder and a display that shows measurement data directly in the field of view. The distance appears while the target stays in view, so the observer can keep watching the target the whole time.

Like all GPO products, the RANGEGUIDE™ binoculars are designed and engineered in Germany. They undergo a 100% quality control inspection of optics, mechanics and electronics at GPO's headquarters before they are shipped.

ABOUT THE MODEL (GPO RANGEGUIDE™ 3400 10×50)

The GPO RANGEGUIDE™ 3400 10×50 is a rangefinding binocular built for long-distance observation and measurement. The 10× magnification brings out detail at longer distances, while the 50 mm objective lenses and 5 mm exit pupil keep the image bright into dusk. This helps when game is most active and light is fading. The field of view of 110 m at 1,000 m makes it easier to scan open terrain and locate game.

The laser rangefinder reaches up to 3,400 m on highly reflective objects, with a response time of 0.25 s. In Hyperscan mode, the laser takes four measurements per second, so the reading follows the target as you move across the landscape. BEST/LAST technology helps select the correct target when several objects are in the beam path. The SLOPE and TRUE RANGE functions measure the angle and calculate the effective distance for shots uphill or downhill.

Results are shown on a red OLED display with 9 brightness levels. It can be dimmed for low light and set brighter for daylight use. Besides the distance in metres or yards, it also shows the angle.

The housing is made of magnesium, which keeps it rugged while limiting weight to 1,000 g without battery. The binoculars are waterproof and nitrogen-filled for reliable use in rain and changing temperatures. An eye relief of 17 mm, diopter adjustment of −5/+5 dpt and an interpupillary distance range of 58–76 mm allow comfortable adjustment for different users. The menu is easy to use, and the buttons are placed for easy reach.

ABOUT GPO

GPO (German Precision Optics) is a sports optics brand owned by GPO GmbH in Germany, led by Richard Schmidt, former CEO of Carl Zeiss Sports Optics. The company was founded by senior optical industry executives. Their aim was to offer higher-quality products with better features at similar prices, or similar-quality products at lower prices.

All GPO products are designed and engineered in Germany, with electronics made in Germany. Final assembly takes place in GPO's international production network in Japan, the Philippines and China, following GPO's quality standards. The products are then delivered to the headquarters in Germany. There they undergo a 100% quality control inspection of optics, mechanics and electronics before being packaged and shipped.

The GPO range includes binoculars, rangefinding binoculars, riflescopes, spotting scopes, rangefinders and red dot sights for hunting, sport shooting, birding and nature observation.
