Explore Scientific Filter Set 3 Moon & Planets from 150mm

1. Optimized Planetary Views: This set provides a selection of filters specifically chosen to enhance details on planets like Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus, as well as the Moon. Each color targets specific wavelengths, revealing subtle structures and atmospheric phenomena that are difficult to discern without magnification.

2. Enhanced Lunar Contrast: The various filters, particularly the Yellow-Green, are highly effective in boosting contrast across the lunar surface, making craters, rilles, and mountain ranges more sharply defined and easier to observe, even under varying sky conditions.

3. Broad Telescope Compatibility: Featuring a standard 1.25-inch barrel size, these filters are universally compatible with most astronomical eyepieces and accessories. They thread directly into the eyepiece barrel, ensuring secure attachment and ease of use during observation sessions.

4. Designed for Larger Apertures: While useful for many telescopes, this filter set truly shines with instruments yielding an aperture of 150mm or greater. Larger telescopes gather more light, allowing the filters to perform optimally by delivering maximum contrast and detail without excessive darkening of the image.
