EAW Roll-Off Mount for Fabarm BBF

• Fabarm BBF-specific fit: This EAW Roll-Off Mount base is made for the Fabarm BBF, giving a correct interface for a secure installation and dependable alignment with the firearm.
• Steel construction: The steel body provides the rigidity needed to keep the mounting platform stable under repeated use, which helps preserve consistent scope positioning.
• Low 8.20 mm height: The compact 8.20 mm build keeps the optic close to the bore, supporting a more natural sight line and a tidy overall setup on a break-action firearm.
• Roll-off design: As part of the EAW Roll-off Mounts family, this base supports a mounting concept built around practical removal and reattachment of the optic when the application calls for it.
• 0 MOA inclination: The 0 MOA configuration suits straightforward hunting and general shooting setups where a neutral mounting angle is preferred.

About the EAW Roll-off Mounts Series

EAW Roll-off Mounts sit in the manufacturer’s range as a practical alternative to its pivot mounts, aimed at shooters who want a simpler and more economical mounting solution for lighter firearm setups. The series is intended for applications such as air rifles, small-calibre shotguns, and selected rifles with integrated dovetail interfaces, while still following EAW’s emphasis on precise fit and repeatable handling.

A defining characteristic of the series is the slide-on and roll-off concept, which allows the riflescope to be removed and reattached when needed. Depending on the model, the range includes fixed versions or lever-lock variants, as well as one-piece and two-piece designs. EAW also offers versions for different interfaces, including dovetail-based systems and Picatinny-compatible solutions. In practice, the series is built around clean mechanical engagement, compact dimensions, and application-specific geometry rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, which makes it well suited to traditional hunting firearms and other lighter platforms where a low, neat optic installation matters.

About the EAW Roll-Off Mount for Fabarm BBF

The EAW Roll-Off Mount for Fabarm BBF is a firearm-specific base designed for shooters who need a solid starting point for mounting an optic on this break-action platform. Its main advantage is not complexity, but correct geometry for the Fabarm BBF, which is essential for stable installation and proper optic positioning. On combination guns and similar hunting firearms, a mount base has to do its job without adding unnecessary bulk, and this model addresses that with a low-profile layout.

The use of steel construction gives the mount the stiffness expected from a durable base component. That matters in practice because a rigid mount helps the optic stay consistently seated and supports reliable alignment over time. The 8.20 mm height keeps the setup close to the barrel line, which can improve handling and maintain a more natural cheek position compared with taller mounting solutions. With 0 MOA inclination, the base is configured for a neutral optic setup, making it appropriate for conventional hunting distances rather than specialist long-range compensation.

As part of the EAW Roll-off Mounts family, this model follows a design approach focused on practical removability and a tidy fit on the firearm. For a Fabarm BBF owner building a traditional hunting optics setup, that combination of model-specific fit, compact height, and robust material makes this base a sensible foundation.

About EAW

EAW traces its history back to 1919, when Ernst Apel founded the company in Würzburg, Germany. In 1923, he acquired Elektro-Dental-Werke Frankfurt and changed the EDW brand to EAW, meaning Ernst Apel Würzburg. The company developed and produced its first riflescope mounts in 1945, and since 1951 mount development and production have been its primary focus.

Today, Ernst Apel GmbH is headquartered in Eibelstadt, Germany, following the move of production from Würzburg to Gerbrunn in 1970. EAW is known for its broad expertise in riflescope mounting systems, including pivot, slide-on or roll-off, and claw mounts, and it also offers thermal imaging cameras. This background is especially relevant in the hunting optics field, where precise firearm-specific mounting solutions remain one of the company’s core strengths.
