Crimson Trace Brushline Pro 4-16x50 BDC, 30mm

• 4-16x magnification range: Covers the practical middle ground between close woodland shots and more deliberate work across open fields, so one riflescope can handle varied hunting distances without feeling over-specialized.
• 50 mm objective lens: The larger front lens helps maintain a brighter sight picture as magnification increases, which is especially useful when game appears in the first or last light of the day.
• CT Custom BDC Pro reticle: This second-focal-plane holdover reticle gives a clear aiming point at normal hunting magnifications while adding reference marks for quicker elevation compensation in the field.
• Side parallax adjustment: Fine-tuning parallax from the shooting position helps keep the target and reticle on the same focal plane, improving precision for small targets and longer shots.
• Capped 30 mm hunting turret system: The capped turrets protect settings from accidental movement during transport or stalking, while the 30 mm tube provides generous internal adjustment for zeroing and trajectory correction.

About the Crimson Trace Brushline Series

Crimson Trace Brushline is positioned as a hunting riflescope series built around straightforward field use rather than tactical complexity. In Crimson Trace’s lineup, the series stands apart from the Brushline Pro family and focuses on practical hunting configurations with second-focal-plane reticles, 1-inch tubes, and non-illuminated designs. That approach keeps the image uncluttered and the controls familiar for hunters who want fast sight acquisition and simple holdover references.

The series includes models with both standard and rimfire-specific reticle options, including the CT Custom BDC and CT Custom BDC Rimfire patterns. A defining characteristic of the standard CT Custom BDC reticle is its use of diamond-shaped aiming references, giving multiple distinct hold points without making the sight picture busy. Across the range, Brushline models are offered in practical magnification bands such as 3–9x and 4–12x, with 40 mm or 50 mm objectives chosen to balance low-light performance, size, and carrying weight. The result is a series aimed at general hunting use, where clear optics, familiar reticles, and uncomplicated handling matter more than exposed adjustment systems or competition-style features.

About the Crimson Trace Brushline Pro 4-16x50 BDC, 30mm

The Crimson Trace Brushline Pro 4-16x50 BDC, 30mm is a hunting riflescope built for shooters who need more reach and finer target definition than a basic low-power deer scope can provide. Its 4-16x magnification range gives enough low-end field awareness for general stalking and stand hunting, while the upper end is useful when the shot calls for careful placement on smaller targets or at longer distances. The 50.00 mm objective lens, fully multicoated optics, and stated 90% light transmission support a bright, usable image when light begins to fade.

This model uses a second-focal-plane CT Custom BDC Pro reticle, which keeps the reticle visually consistent as magnification changes. In practice, that means the aiming point remains easy to see against dark backgrounds and does not become overly fine at low power. Because the reticle is non-illuminated, the scope stays simple and uncluttered, with no brightness settings to manage in the field. The side-focus parallax adjustment is especially valuable on a 16x hunting scope, letting the shooter sharpen the image and reduce aiming error when stretching distance.

The mechanical layout also suits a traditional hunting role. Capped turrets help prevent accidental movement when the rifle is carried through brush or moved in and out of a vehicle or blind, while the 1/4 MOA click value allows precise zeroing. A 30 mm tube and 90 MOA of elevation and windage adjustment provide useful setup flexibility, and the aerospace aluminum construction, waterproof design, and shockproof build support dependable use on working hunting rifles.

About Crimson Trace

Crimson Trace was established in 1994 and built its reputation around firearm aiming and illumination accessories. The company is particularly known for firearm laser sights, with product families such as Lasergrips, Laserguard, and Rail Master, as well as the Lightguard line of firearm-mounted lights. One of its defining concepts is Instinctive Activation, which uses pressure-pad placement designed to work with a normal shooting grip rather than requiring a separate deliberate switch movement.

Alongside lasers and lights, Crimson Trace also produces riflescopes and rangefinders, extending its focus from close-range sighting systems into broader hunting and shooting optics. The company operates a facility in Columbia, Missouri, United States. In this category, Crimson Trace is known for combining familiar sporting-optics layouts with reticle systems and control schemes intended to stay practical in real field conditions.
