Silky Blade Zübat 330-7.5 with Cover and Pipe

• Curved 330 mm blade: The curved profile helps the saw stay engaged in the cut, making overhead pruning and fast pull strokes more controlled and efficient.
• 7.5 teeth per 30 mm: This tooth pattern balances cutting speed with a reasonably clean finish, which suits green wood and routine arborist or garden work.
• Spring steel blade: The blade material combines flexibility with durability, helping the saw resist damage when working through dense branches or awkward cutting angles.
• Modular construction: A modular build makes the saw practical to maintain over time, especially for users who rely on their pruning tools regularly.
• Polymer sheath with belt carry: The supplied black belt pouch keeps the saw protected in transport and close at hand when moving between cuts.

About the Zübat Series

The Silky Zübat series is a line of fixed-blade pruning saws built for users who need a fast-cutting hand saw for arboriculture, garden maintenance, and outdoor work. Within the Silky range, Zübat models are known for combining a rigid fixed-blade format with a curved blade shape that supports efficient pull-cutting through branches and green wood. That makes the series especially well suited to pruning tasks where speed, reach, and control matter more than the compact storage advantages of a folding saw.

Across the range, the design focuses on practical field use: a secure sheath system for carry, tooth patterns intended for aggressive cutting, and blade geometry that helps the saw track smoothly once the cut is started. Japanese-made construction and Silky’s long-standing sawmaking background give the series a strong reputation among users who want dependable cutting performance rather than unnecessary complexity. In use, the Zübat family sits comfortably between light garden saws and heavier specialist tools, making it a versatile choice for pruning, branch removal, and general outdoor cutting where a dedicated fixed-blade saw is the better fit.

About the Silky Blade Zübat 330-7.5 with Cover and Pipe

The Silky Blade Zübat 330-7.5 with Cover and Pipe is built around a 330.00 mm curved blade, giving it the reach and stroke length needed for efficient branch work while keeping the saw manageable in one hand. The curved blade shape is not just a styling detail; it helps the teeth bite earlier in the stroke and keeps the saw settled in the kerf, which is particularly useful when cutting above shoulder height or working in dense growth. For pruning and outdoor cutting, that translates into smoother progress with less wasted movement.

The blade uses spring steel and a laser cut manufacturing process, a combination that supports consistent tooth geometry and the flexibility needed in a working saw. With 7.5 teeth per 30 mm, this version is tuned for practical cutting speed on wood rather than ultra-fine finish work, making it a sensible choice for gardening, construction, handywork, and general outdoor tasks. The coated silver blade also adds a layer of surface protection for regular field use.

At 582.00 g and 540.00 mm overall length, the saw offers a substantial, stable feel without becoming overly cumbersome. Its modular construction is useful for long-term serviceability, while the included black polymer belt pouch keeps the saw protected and accessible between cuts. Altogether, this is a fixed-blade pruning saw designed for users who value cutting efficiency, straightforward carry, and a blade format that performs well in repeated wood-cutting work.

About Silky

Silky’s origins date to 1919, when Katsuji Miyawaki began making saws in Kishi, Japan. The company focuses on saws for pruning, woodworking, and outdoor use, with a range that includes folding saws, fixed-blade saws, and telescopic pole saws. Over time, Silky developed its manufacturing approach through dedicated saw-setting technology, including the adoption of an automatic saw-setting machine in 1970 and a patented process introduced in 1980 for its 4-Retsume and Miraime2 saws. Today, Silky saws are manufactured in Ono, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, and the brand is widely associated with Japanese pruning saw design built around efficient pull-cutting performance and practical field durability.
