Vector Optics Forester 1-5x24 SFP Fiber LPVO

• True 1x to 5x zoom range: The low end supports fast, both-eyes-open shooting at close distance, while 5x gives enough magnification for more deliberate shots on small targets or at longer practical ranges.
• Fiber center dot with red illumination: The bright center aiming point stands out clearly in daylight, helping the eye pick up the reticle quickly when speed matters on moving game or dynamic targets.
• Second focal plane G4-style reticle: The reticle keeps the same apparent size through the zoom range, so the sight picture stays easy to read at low power and uncluttered at higher magnification.
• Fully multi-coated optics: The coatings improve light transmission and reduce glare, which helps maintain contrast and a cleaner image in mixed light, woodland shade and overcast conditions.
• Compact 30 mm tube construction: The short 262 mm body and moderate 424 g weight keep the rifle handling lively, while the 30 mm tube provides a solid mounting platform for general-purpose hunting optics or tactical optics setups.

About the Vector Optics Forester Series

The Vector Optics Forester series sits in the brand’s Entry Level range and is built around practical, versatile LPVO use. Within the wider Vector Optics lineup, Forester models are designed for shooters who want a straightforward low-power variable optic with modern features, a 30 mm tube format and a broad choice of configurations without moving into the company’s more specialized premium lines.

The series includes 1–4x, 1–5x and 1–8x LPVO models, alongside several higher-magnification Forester variants, which makes it one of the more flexible families in the brand’s catalog. Vector Optics describes the LPVO versions as suitable for versatile shooting applications, and that shows in the way the series combines second focal plane layouts, fully multi-coated lenses and a compact mechanical design. Depending on the model, Forester scopes are offered with different reticle styles, including fiber-optic center-dot and etched-glass variants, so users can choose between faster visual pickup or a more conventional aiming presentation. Across the range, the emphasis is on usable field performance, clear edge-to-edge viewing and dependable resistance to fog and wet weather.

About the Vector Optics Forester 1-5x24 SFP Fiber LPVO

The Vector Optics Forester 1-5x24 SFP Fiber LPVO is built for shooters who need one riflescope to cover short-range speed and mid-range precision. At true 1x, it works well for rapid target transitions and both-eyes-open shooting, which is especially useful on carbines used for driven hunting, small game work or general-purpose range use. Moving up to 5x magnification gives a more precise view of smaller targets and helps place shots more carefully without making the scope bulky or slow to handle.

A defining feature of this model is its fiber center dot reticle with 6-level red illumination. In practice, that bright central aiming point draws the eye quickly in strong daylight, while the finer surrounding reticle structure keeps the sight picture clean enough for more deliberate aiming. Because the reticle is in the second focal plane, its visual size stays constant through the zoom range, which many shooters prefer in an LPVO intended for fast acquisition at low power.

The optical system uses fully multi-coated lenses for better contrast and reduced glare, and the wide field of view at low magnification supports fast scanning and target pickup. A fixed 100 mm eye relief helps maintain a comfortable shooting position, while the capped turrets protect the adjustments from accidental movement during transport or field carry. The 30 mm tube, nitrogen-filled construction and waterproof, fogproof and shockproof build make this a practical riflescope for regular outdoor use in changing weather.

About Vector Optics

Vector Optics was founded in 2007 by Xusheng Shen in Shanghai, China, where the company is still headquartered. It began under the name Sunclear before adopting the Vector Optics brand and later registered the VictOptics sub-brand in 2018. The company focuses on optics for hunting, competitive shooting, tactical use and outdoor activities, with a catalog that covers riflescopes, red-dot sights, binoculars, spotting scopes and rangefinders.

Within the riflescope segment, Vector Optics is known for offering several clearly separated product families, including Forester, Continental and Tauron. That structure lets the brand address entry-level, general-purpose and more advanced use cases with different optical and mechanical priorities. In the higher tiers, selected Continental models use Schott HD or ED glass and VePRO fully multi-coated lenses, showing the company’s broader emphasis on practical optical performance across its lineup.
