ABOUT THE TIPTON BORE MOP .17 CALIBER

The Tipton Bore Mop in .17 caliber is an essential accessory for any firearm enthusiast looking to maintain the pristine condition and accuracy of their small-bore rifles. Unlike wire brushes that excel at aggressive carbon removal, these mops are specifically engineered for applying and spreading cleaning solutions, lubricants, or rust inhibitors smoothly and evenly throughout the bore. Crafted from highly absorbent cotton material, they are gentle yet immensely effective at picking up dissolved fouling and ensuring a final, clean pass. Their design focuses on maximizing contact with the bore's surface without causing any abrasion, which is critical for preserving the intricate rifling of a .17 caliber barrel.
