• Compact Field Accessory: Finished in black and designed for muzzleloader use, it fits naturally into a practical hunting setup without adding unnecessary bulk or complexity.

About the Thompson Center Accessories Series

Thompson Center Accessories is a field-oriented product family built around the practical needs of hunters and outdoor users. Rather than focusing on one narrow category, the series covers support equipment for carrying firearms and binoculars, as well as accessories for managing muzzleloader reload supplies. That broad approach makes the line a useful companion to Thompson/Center firearms, especially for shooters who want their gear arranged in a simple, functional way during a day in the field.

The series sits alongside the brand’s core hunting products and emphasizes utility, portability, and straightforward handling. Items in the range are intended to make equipment easier to carry, quicker to access, and more orderly to use under real hunting conditions. In practice, that means accessories designed around movement, weather exposure, and the need to keep essential items close at hand. For muzzleloader users in particular, the series supports the extra loading components that black-powder shooting requires, helping create a more efficient and better-organized field setup.

About the Thompson Center MuzzCharger Black Powder Speed Loader

The Thompson Center MuzzCharger Black Powder Speed Loader is a simple muzzleloader accessory made for shooters who want a more efficient way to handle reload components away from the bench. In black-powder hunting, follow-up loading involves more steps and more small parts than with many modern cartridge systems, so accessories that improve organization can make a noticeable difference in the field. The MuzzCharger is built around that need, giving the user a dedicated tool for managing primers as part of a more controlled loading process.

Its steel construction points to a design intended for repeated use rather than occasional convenience. A steel accessory stands up well to being carried with other hunting equipment, handled with cold or gloved hands, and used in outdoor conditions where lighter-duty gear can feel less secure. The black finish keeps the appearance understated and practical, matching the no-nonsense role of the accessory in a muzzleloader kit.

What sets this model apart is not complexity but purpose. The MuzzCharger is meant to support a smoother black-powder routine by keeping a critical ignition component easier to access and manage. For hunters using a muzzleloader, that translates into less distraction during loading and a setup that feels more deliberate and field-ready.

About Thompson Center

Thompson/Center Arms traces its firearms business to 1967 and is headquartered in Rochester, New Hampshire, United States. The company has long focused on firearms and related equipment for hunters, shooters, and outdoor enthusiasts, with a product history that includes muzzleloaders, black-powder accessories, interchangeable firearm systems, and precision rimfire rifles. That background makes the brand especially relevant in categories where practical field use and loading familiarity matter.

The company became part of Smith & Wesson on January 4, 2007, and the Thompson/Center Arms brand was later acquired by Gregg Ritz in 2024. Across those changes, the name has remained closely associated with muzzleloading and hunting-oriented firearm design. Product families such as the Triumph and platforms such as the T/C Encore helped establish Thompson/Center as a recognizable name among shooters who value specialized hunting firearms and the accessories that support them.
