Steyr Arms Monobloc scope mount, SR rail

• SR rail interface: Built for Swarovski SR rail scopes, this upper mount gives a secure, repeatable connection without separate rings, helping preserve alignment and simplifying installation.
• Monobloc compatibility: Designed for the Steyr Monobloc platform, it matches the rifle’s modular mounting concept and makes it easier to configure the rifle around a preferred optic format.
• Steel construction: The steel body adds rigidity and wear resistance, which is important for maintaining a stable optic position through regular field use and repeated removal or refitting.
• 0 MOA / 0 MOA geometry: With 0 MOA extension and 0 MOA inclination, the mount keeps the optic in a neutral position that suits general hunting and everyday zeroing distances.
• Non-adjustable windage design: The fixed layout avoids unnecessary moving parts, giving a straightforward mounting solution for shooters who want a simple, solid interface between rifle and scope.

About the Steyr Arms Mounts Series

Steyr Arms Mounts are purpose-built accessories for fitting optics to compatible STEYR rifles, with a strong emphasis on clean integration and model-specific fit. Within this family, the Monobloc Flex Mount concept uses a single base with interchangeable upper sections, allowing the same rifle platform to accept different optic interfaces without changing the underlying mounting system. That approach suits hunters and sporting shooters who may switch between conventional tube scopes and rail-mounted optics depending on the rifle’s role.

The series includes upper parts for 30 mm rings as well as Zeiss and Swarovski rails, which makes the system practical for users who prefer premium European scope formats. STEYR also documents a quick-detach scope-mount option within the Monobloc system, reflecting a design philosophy focused on modularity rather than a one-format-only solution. In use, these mounts are defined less by extra adjustment features and more by precise mechanical fit, straightforward handling, and compatibility with the rifle’s own mounting architecture.

About the Steyr Arms Monobloc scope mount, SR rail

The Steyr Arms Monobloc scope mount, SR rail is a dedicated upper mount for shooters who want to pair a Swarovski SR rail scope with the Steyr Monobloc system. Its main advantage is format-specific fit: instead of adapting a rail scope through conventional rings, it supports the SR interface directly, which helps keep the installation tidy, mechanically consistent, and well suited to a rifle built around integrated design.

The mount uses a steel construction and a black finish, giving it the kind of durability expected from a hard-use hunting rifle accessory. In practical terms, the rigid material choice helps the optic stay firmly in place under recoil and during transport, while the simple fixed layout keeps the setup uncomplicated. Because the mount has 0 MOA inclination and 0 MOA extension, it is aimed at neutral scope positioning rather than specialized long-range cant, making it a sensible choice for general hunting distances and conventional zeroing setups.

This version also has no windage adjustment, which suits users who prefer a straightforward mount with fewer variables once the optic is aligned and installed correctly. As part of the broader Monobloc mounting concept, it supports a modular rifle setup while remaining focused on one specific optic standard. The result is a mount that prioritizes secure attachment, clean compatibility, and a direct fit for SR-rail hunting optics.

About Steyr Arms

Steyr Arms was founded by Josef and Franz Werndl on April 16, 1864, in Oberletten, Austria. The company’s headquarters, research and development, and production are in Kleinraming, Austria, and it focuses on firearms for hunting, sporting, precision shooting, and police and military use. The company adopted the name STEYR ARMS on January 1, 2019, reflecting its modern brand identity while continuing a long Austrian manufacturing tradition.

In the firearms world, STEYR is closely associated with technically distinctive designs. The STEYR AUG became the Austrian Federal Army’s standard assault rifle in 1977 under the designation StG 77, while the SSG 69 established the company’s reputation in precision rifles. In the hunting segment, STEYR presented the Monobloc in 2018, notable for combining barrel and housing from one piece. That background helps explain why STEYR accessories such as this mount are designed with close platform integration in mind.
