Sightron S1 3.5-10x50 G2

• 50 mm objective lens: The large front lens helps the scope gather more light at dawn, dusk and in shaded woodland, giving a brighter sight picture when hunting conditions are less forgiving.
• 3.5-10x magnification range: This zoom span covers typical stalking and stand-hunting distances well, with enough low-end field of view for closer shots and enough top-end magnification for more precise placement farther out.
• Second focal plane Duplex reticle: The classic hunting reticle stays the same visual size through the zoom range, so the aiming point remains familiar and uncluttered at every magnification.
• 1-inch aircraft aluminum tube: The compact tube keeps weight down and balances easily on a hunting rifle, while still providing the durability needed for regular field use.
• IPX-7 waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction: Nitrogen filling, sealing and robust internal construction help the scope stay usable through rain, temperature changes and recoil.

About the Sightron SI Hunter Series

The Sightron SI Hunter series was developed as a hunting-focused riflescope line built around practical field use rather than target-style complexity. In this family, Sightron paired straightforward magnification ranges with a 1-inch tube format, keeping the scopes trim, easy to mount and well suited to traditional sporting rifles. The line also included both hunting and Field Target configurations, showing a design approach that covered different shooting styles while keeping the mechanics familiar and uncomplicated.

Within the hunting models, the series was offered with several reticle patterns, including Duplex, Mil-Dot, Hunter Holdover, Crosshair and MOA-20. That variety made the range suitable for hunters who wanted anything from a very clean aiming picture to a reticle with added holdover reference points. The overall character of the series is defined by usable magnification, conventional handling and an emphasis on dependable optical performance in real hunting conditions. In practical terms, the SI Hunter concept fits shooters who want a riflescope that remains light, intuitive and quick to use from woodland stalking to general-purpose hunting over mixed terrain.

About the Sightron S1 3.5-10x50 G2

The Sightron S1 3.5-10x50 G2 is a general-purpose hunting riflescope built for shooters who want a simple layout, low-light capability and manageable weight. Its 3.5-10x magnification range makes it versatile across common hunting distances: the lower end remains practical for shorter shots where a wider view helps with target acquisition, while 10x gives enough image scale for more deliberate shot placement in open ground. The 50 mm objective is the defining feature of this model, because it supports a brighter image in the first and last light periods when game is often most active.

Sightron uses MC-333 multi-coatings on the glass to improve contrast, reduce flare and maintain a clear sight picture across the zoom range. The scope also uses a Second Focal Plane Duplex reticle, a traditional hunting setup that keeps the reticle visually consistent as magnification changes. That makes the aiming picture easy to read and especially well suited to hunters who prefer a clean central point over a busier tactical pattern. The fixed parallax setting at hunting distance keeps operation straightforward, while the fast-focus eyepiece helps the shooter quickly sharpen the reticle to their eye.

Mechanically, this model stays true to a field rifle role. Capped turrets protect the adjustments from accidental movement during transport or while moving through brush, and the 1/4 MOA click value gives familiar, precise correction when zeroing. The 1-inch tube, 431.00 g weight and 320.00 mm length keep the scope compact enough for balanced carry, while nitrogen filling, fogproof sealing, IPX-7 waterproofing and shockproof construction support reliable use in changing weather and on recoiling hunting rifles.
