Shilba Target Pro 6-24x50

• 6-24x magnification range: The wide zoom span covers precise target work at longer distances while still giving enough flexibility to dial back magnification when mirage, field conditions, or target acquisition speed become more important.
• 50 mm objective lens: A larger front lens helps maintain a brighter sight picture at higher magnifications, which is especially useful when aiming at small targets or shooting in subdued light.
• Side-focus parallax adjustment: Parallax can be corrected from the shooting position, making it easier to keep the reticle and target on the same focal plane for more consistent shot placement at varying distances.
• 30 mm main tube: The larger tube gives the scope a robust platform and supports the adjustment travel expected from a riflescope intended for target and precision-oriented use.
• Weather-sealed, nitrogen-filled construction: Waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof design helps the scope stay usable through temperature changes, damp conditions, and regular recoil exposure.

About the Shilba Target Pro Series

The Shilba Target Pro series sits in the brand’s riflescope range as a line built around 30 mm tube construction and configurations aimed at hunting and competition shooting. Within the series, Shilba has offered both 6-24x50 and 8-32x56 models, giving shooters options for applications that demand more precise aiming on small targets or at extended distances.

Across the family, the design emphasis is practical rather than specialized for only one discipline. The Target Pro concept combines higher magnification ranges with features that matter in field and range use, including HD300 optics, parallax adjustment, and a Mil-Dot reticle layout. Depending on the exact configuration, illumination may vary, but the series consistently follows a format suited to shooters who want a traditional riflescope with enough magnification for deliberate shot placement. Shilba also describes the Target Pro 30 line as water-resistant, shock-resistant, and fungus-resistant, which fits its role as a scope intended to move between bench shooting, target practice, and hunting use without requiring delicate handling.

About the Shilba Target Pro 6-24x50

The Shilba Target Pro 6-24x50 is the more versatile of the higher-magnification Target Pro configurations, balancing 6-24x magnification with a 50.00 mm objective lens in a format that remains suitable for both target shooting and varmint or small-game work. At the lower end, 6x is still manageable for general observation and target acquisition, while 24x gives the shooter the precision needed to hold more confidently on small aiming points. The maximum field of view of 16.50 m/100m helps keep the image more usable before magnification is increased for fine aiming.

This model uses a second focal plane reticle, so the reticle keeps the same apparent size throughout the zoom range. In practice, that gives a consistently fine aiming point at higher magnification and a familiar sight picture as power is changed. The scope also features side-focus parallax adjustment, which is especially important on a 24x riflescope because small parallax errors become more noticeable as magnification rises. Being able to correct parallax from the side turret makes the scope easier to tune from the firing position.

The mechanical layout supports steady, repeatable use. A 30 mm tube, capped multi-turn turrets, and multicoated lenses give the scope a practical mix of protection and optical efficiency. Capped turrets suit shooters who prefer to protect their settings during transport or field carry, while nitrogen filling and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction help the scope stay reliable in changing weather and regular recoil use.

About Shilba

Shilba traces its origins to 1960, when the brand began in an optical workshop near Osaka, Japan. Its early development was closely tied to sporting optics, and in 1975 technicians from Argentina traveled to Japan to help develop a riflescope intended for hare hunting. The first two riflescope models, 4×32 and 4×40, sold out quickly and helped establish the brand in shooting applications.

In 1981, the original Japanese factory owner sold the Shilba brand, its expertise, and its contacts to the current owners. Since then, the company has expanded into a broader optics catalog that includes riflescopes, binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes, and mounts and rings. Shilba later grew beyond its home markets, exporting to neighboring Latin American countries from 2000 and entering Spain in 2004. That background explains why the brand remains closely associated with practical sporting optics built for hunting and field use.
