Safariland Universal Ranger Complete Belt Loop with Leg Strap CRD

• Complete drop-leg mounting setup: The Universal Ranger Complete Belt Loop with Leg Strap CRD provides both the belt attachment and leg strap in one assembly, giving a stable platform for holster carry on the thigh.
• Improved holster positioning: By lowering the holster from the belt line, this accessory helps create easier access when body armor, load-bearing gear, or bulky outerwear would interfere with a standard belt-mounted draw.
• Polymer construction: The polymer body keeps the mounting system rigid enough to support consistent holster placement while remaining practical for hard field and duty use.
• Built for Safariland holster systems: Designed as a holster accessory from Safariland, it fits naturally into the brand's duty and tactical carry ecosystem, making it suitable for professional users who need compatible mounting hardware.
• Made in the USA: U.S. manufacture is important for users who prioritize established production standards and equipment intended for demanding law-enforcement, military, and range applications.

About the Safariland Accessories Series

Safariland Accessories covers the supporting hardware that allows Safariland holsters to be adapted to different carry positions, equipment layouts, and mission requirements. Rather than focusing on the holster body itself, this series is built around the practical parts that determine ride height, mounting position, and how securely a holster integrates with belts or tactical loadouts. That makes the range especially relevant for professional users who need to configure sidearms around armor, outer garments, or specialist equipment.

Within the broader Safariland lineup, these accessories serve the same user base as the company’s duty and tactical holster systems: law enforcement, military personnel, competitive shooters, and others who need repeatable access to a sidearm under realistic working conditions. The design philosophy is straightforward and functional, with an emphasis on durable materials, compatibility with Safariland holster platforms, and mounting solutions that keep the draw consistent. In practice, the series is less about adding complexity and more about tailoring an existing holster setup so it works reliably in the field.

About the Safariland Universal Ranger Complete Belt Loop with Leg Strap CRD

The Safariland Universal Ranger Complete Belt Loop with Leg Strap CRD is a thigh-holster mounting accessory intended for users who need their sidearm positioned lower than a standard belt mount. This configuration is especially useful when a conventional belt-mounted holster would be obstructed by body armor, chest rigs, heavy jackets, or other duty equipment. By moving the holster down to the thigh area, the system helps maintain a cleaner draw path and more predictable access under load.

The design combines a belt loop assembly with a leg strap, creating a more secure and controlled mounting point than a simple drop attachment alone. The belt loop supports the holster from the waist, while the leg strap helps stabilize movement against the thigh during walking, running, or positional shooting. That added stability matters in practical use because it reduces unwanted shifting and helps the holster stay in a repeatable position from draw to reholster.

Its polymer construction gives the assembly the rigidity needed for duty use without the weight and maintenance demands of more complex metal hardware. As a Safariland holster accessory, it is intended to work within the company’s established carry ecosystem, making it a sensible choice for users already running Safariland retention holsters and looking to adapt them for tactical or field applications. The result is a mounting solution focused on access, stability, and compatibility rather than unnecessary bulk.

About Safariland

Safariland was established in 1964 by Neale Perkins, who began the business in Sierra Madre, California as a holster maker. Over time, the company expanded well beyond holsters and now produces armor, accessories, and communications equipment for professional and civilian markets. Safariland serves law enforcement, military, fire and rescue personnel, competitive shooters, and everyday users, which has made the brand a familiar name in duty and tactical equipment.

The company is also known for retention-holster technologies such as the ALS system, which uses an internal lock released by a thumb lever, and for materials such as SafariSeven, its proprietary nylon blend used in 7TS holsters. Today, The Safariland Group is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, and the brand remains closely associated with professional carry systems designed for hard use.
