Rusan Rear Pivot Mount Assembly, SR rail

• SR rail interface: Built for Swarovski SR Rail scopes, this rear pivot element gives a secure, repeatable connection without separate scope rings, keeping the mounting setup clean and mechanically consistent.
• Steel construction: The steel body provides the rigidity needed in a pivot-mount system, helping the optic return to position reliably after removal and reattachment.
• Adjustable windage: Integrated windage adjustment helps align the scope more precisely within the mount, reducing the need to use excessive internal scope correction.
• 0 MOA inclination: A 0 MOA configuration suits general hunting and sporting rifle setups where a neutral mounting angle is preferred for conventional zeroing distances.
• Pivot-mount compatibility: As part of the Rusan Pivot Mounts system, this rear assembly supports a detachable optics setup that is practical for rifles that alternate between scoped and open-sight use.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are part of the company’s dedicated range of firearm optics mounts, developed for hunters and shooters who want a detachable system with a solid mechanical lock-up. The series includes both complete mounts with bases and pivot mounts sold without bases, which makes it easier to configure the system around a specific rifle and optic combination. Across the range, Rusan offers variants for different mounting interfaces, including 11 mm prisms, Picatinny rails, and several scope-rail formats.

A defining characteristic of the series is its steel construction and quick-release fixation, giving the mounts the strength expected for repeated field use while preserving the practical advantage of fast removal. The lineup also covers rifle-specific applications for makes such as Anschutz and Antonio Zoli, showing that the system is designed around real firearm fit rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Within the broader Rusan lineup, the Pivot Mounts series sits as a traditional detachable mounting solution for sporting rifles, especially where a low, tidy installation and repeatable reattachment matter more than a universal tactical-style rail arrangement.

About the Rusan Rear Pivot Mount Assembly, SR rail

The Rusan Rear Pivot Mount Assembly, SR rail is the rear mounting element for a pivot-mount setup built around the Swarovski SR Rail interface. Instead of using conventional scope rings, it mates with the rail profile on compatible scopes, which creates a neater installation and removes ring-positioning variables from the setup. In practice, that is useful for hunters and rifle owners who want a secure detachable mount while keeping the optic aligned in a consistent way.

This version uses a steel construction, which is important in a pivot system because the rear element plays a major role in maintaining rigidity and repeatability when the scope is detached and mounted again. The black finish keeps the part visually discreet on a hunting rifle, while the 0 MOA inclination makes it suitable for standard zeroing applications where no built-in elevation bias is needed.

A particularly practical feature is the adjustable windage. By allowing lateral correction at the mount, it helps center the optic more effectively over the rifle’s bore line and can preserve more of the scope’s internal adjustment range for actual zeroing. As a spare or replacement component within the Rusan Pivot Mounts family, this rear assembly is intended for users maintaining or completing a pivot-mount system based on the SR rail standard.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, and the Rusan family’s metalworking business dates to 1983. The company’s background is rooted in firearms-related machining and gunsmithing, with Željko Rusan opening a gunsmith shop in 1986 and the business beginning scope-mount production in 1993. That history is directly relevant to products such as pivot mounts, rings, and rails, where precise machining and repeatable fit are essential.

Today, Rusan manufactures scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, and it is also known for adapter solutions for clip-on night-vision and thermal devices. The company introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, reflecting a product range that covers both traditional hunting optics and modern electro-optics mounting needs. This combination of conventional mount-making and adapter design gives Rusan a strong position in practical rifle-interface solutions.
