Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Mauser M12, 30 mm

• Pivot quick-release design: The Rusan pivot system lets the optic be attached and removed with repeatable positioning, which is useful for hunters who alternate between a scope and open sights or need easier transport and storage.
• Without-bases configuration: This version is intended for rifles that already use compatible pivot bases, making it a practical choice when replacing only the upper mount assembly instead of the complete mounting set.
• 30 mm scope fit: Built for 30 mm riflescope tubes, it supports a wide range of popular hunting optics while keeping the scope securely aligned in the mount.
• Steel construction: A steel mount offers the rigidity and wear resistance needed for repeated mounting cycles, helping the system stay dependable under field use and recoil.
• Mauser M12-specific interface: Designed for the Mauser M12 platform, this mount follows the geometry of that rifle family so the optic sits on a purpose-made mounting solution rather than a generic adapter.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are part of the company’s dedicated line of firearms optics mounts, built for shooters who want a traditional pivot-style mounting system with the convenience of quick-release fixation. Within the wider Rusan catalogue, the series covers both complete mounts with bases and versions sold without bases, allowing the user to match the mount to an existing rifle setup or build a full system from scratch.

The series spans multiple scope tube sizes, including 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm, and it also includes variants for different rifle makes and mounting interfaces. That broad fitment makes the range especially relevant to hunters and rifle owners who want a mount tailored to a specific action rather than a one-pattern solution. The design emphasis is straightforward: durable steel construction, secure scope support, and a pivot mechanism that allows the optic to be removed and reattached in a practical field format. For users who value a low-profile hunting rifle setup with repeatable handling, the series is aimed at dependable everyday use rather than unnecessary complexity.

About the Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Mauser M12, 30 mm

The Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Mauser M12, 30 mm is a rifle-specific upper mount assembly for shooters who already have compatible pivot bases installed and need a matching top section for a 30 mm riflescope. Its main advantage is system compatibility: instead of replacing the entire mounting arrangement, this version lets the user keep the existing base interface and add the scope-holding portion required for a Mauser M12 setup.

The pivot mount format is well suited to hunting rifles because it combines secure optic support with the practical ability to remove the scope when needed. That can be useful for transport, access to the rifle, or switching between sighting arrangements while retaining the familiar handling of a classic pivot system. Because the mount is made from steel, it is built around rigidity and long-term resistance to wear at the locking and bearing surfaces, both of which matter on a mount that may be detached and reinstalled repeatedly.

Its black finish keeps the appearance understated and appropriate for a sporting rifle, while the Mauser M12-specific pattern avoids the compromises that can come with universal mounting solutions. For hunters assembling a traditional rifle-and-scope combination around a 30 mm optic, this mount focuses on mechanical fit, repeatable handling, and a clean integration with an existing pivot-base system.

About Rusan

Rusan grew out of the Rusan family’s metalworking business, which dates to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. Based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, Rusan-Mikron focuses on firearms mounting solutions and related precision-made components.

The company’s range includes scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, with fitments for many rifle models. Rusan is also well known for adapter solutions for modern sighting equipment, including adapter clamps for clip-on sights and adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. That combination of traditional gunsmithing background and specialized mounting production is directly relevant to products such as pivot mounts, where precise machining and repeatable fit are central to reliable use.
