Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Howa 1500, Pard NV008, one-piece

• Pivot design for digital night vision: This one-piece Rusan mount is configured for the Pard NV008, giving the device a secure and repeatable attachment method that suits rifles used both in daylight and after dark.
• Howa 1500-specific fit: The mount is matched to the Howa 1500 platform, which helps maintain correct alignment and a clean installation instead of relying on a more generic mounting solution.
• Upper part supplied without bases: Because this version comes without bases, it is a practical choice for rifles that already use compatible pivot bases and only need the correct upper assembly for the optic.
• One-piece construction: A one-piece upper keeps the mounting interface simple and rigid, which is useful when a night-vision device needs stable positioning for consistent viewing and handling.
• Made in Croatia: Built by Rusan in Croatia, this mount comes from a manufacturer known for precision metalworking and for mounting solutions developed around hunting optics, night vision, and thermal devices.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal are built around the needs of shooters who want to use night-vision and thermal devices on familiar hunting rifles without giving up a proven pivot-mount layout. In Rusan’s catalog, the series covers a wide spread of rifle fits and device interfaces, with versions for brands such as Pard, Pulsar, HIKMICRO, InfiRay, ATN, and Yukon. That broad compatibility makes the series especially relevant for users who already have a preferred digital or thermal sight and need a mount matched to a specific rifle action.

The series includes both complete pivot mounts with bases and upper parts without bases, so the system can suit either a fresh installation or an existing rifle already equipped with the correct lower components. Rusan also offers variants for different rifle mounting interfaces, including prism-style receivers and model-specific base patterns. Across the range, the design philosophy is straightforward: pair a device-specific upper with a rifle-specific lower geometry so the optic sits securely, handles predictably, and can be integrated into a practical field rifle setup for low-light hunting and observation.

About the Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Howa 1500, Pard NV008, one-piece

The Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Howa 1500, Pard NV008, one-piece is a dedicated mounting solution for shooters who want to fit a Pard NV008 to a Howa 1500 using the established pivot-mount format. Its main advantage is specificity: instead of adapting a general-purpose mount, this version is built around the rifle and device combination, which supports a neater fit and more predictable positioning on the firearm.

The one-piece upper construction keeps the assembly simple and robust. In practical use, that matters because a digital night-vision unit benefits from stable placement for consistent eye alignment and handling, especially when the rifle is carried, shouldered, and used repeatedly in changing light. The black finish gives the mount a subdued appearance that matches most rifles and sight bodies without drawing unnecessary attention.

Because this model is supplied without bases, it is best suited to users who already have compatible pivot bases installed or who are building a system around the correct lower components separately. That makes it a focused option rather than a universal kit. For a rifle set up around the Howa 1500 and the Pard NV008 standard, this Rusan mount provides a purpose-built connection between rifle and optic, with the practical emphasis on compatibility, clean integration, and dependable support for night-time shooting applications.

About Rusan

Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company moved into scope-mount production in 1993. Based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, Rusan-Mikron focuses on precision-made mounting solutions and related firearm components.

The company’s range includes scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, alongside adapters developed for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. Rusan is also well known for its adapter clamps for clip-on sights, a product category it expanded with the introduction of its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009. That background is directly relevant here: Rusan’s experience lies in making rifle-to-optic interfaces that are model-specific, mechanically straightforward, and suited to modern hunting optics.
