Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for CZ 550 Skandinavia, SR Rail

• Pivot quick-release design: The Rusan pivot system lets the optic be attached and removed with repeatable positioning, which is useful for rifles that alternate between scoped and open-sight use or between different sighting setups.
• SR rail interface: Built for Swarovski SR rail optics, this mount avoids separate scope rings and gives a clean, secure connection that suits premium rail-equipped hunting scopes.
• Steel construction: A steel mount body adds the rigidity and wear resistance needed for a hard-used hunting rifle, helping the mounting surfaces stay stable over repeated installation cycles.
• Without bases configuration: This version is supplied without bases, making it the correct upper mount component for users who already have the matching pivot bases on the rifle.
• Model-specific fit: Made for the CZ 550 Skandinavia, it is designed around that rifle platform so the mount geometry matches the action and keeps the optic installation properly aligned.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are part of the company’s dedicated line of firearm optics mounts, built for shooters who want a removable scope setup without giving up a solid mechanical connection. Within the range, Rusan offers pivot-mount variants for different rifle mounting interfaces, including 11 mm prisms and Picatinny rails, as well as complete mounts with bases and versions sold without bases. That makes the series relevant both for new rifle builds and for replacing only the upper part of an existing mounting system.

The series is defined by a practical design approach: steel construction, quick-release fixation, and model-specific versions for a wide variety of rifles. Rusan also lists complete pivot mounts with rings for 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm scope tubes, showing that the family is intended to cover both traditional hunting optics and larger modern scopes. In use, the pivot format suits hunters and sporting rifle owners who value a low, tidy installation and the option to remove the optic when needed while keeping the mounting system matched to a specific rifle platform.

About the Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for CZ 550 Skandinavia, SR Rail

The Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for CZ 550 Skandinavia, SR Rail is a model-specific upper mount for combining a CZ 550 Skandinavia rifle with a Swarovski SR rail scope. Instead of using conventional rings, the SR rail format clamps directly to the rail on the optic, which gives a neat installation and removes the need to match ring diameter to the scope tube. For rail-equipped hunting scopes, that is a practical advantage because it simplifies mounting while maintaining a secure interface.

This mount belongs to Rusan’s pivot quick-release system, so it is intended for shooters who want the convenience of removing the optic without converting the rifle to a permanent fixed mount. On a hunting rifle, that can be useful for transport, storage, cleaning, or switching between sighting arrangements while keeping the rifle equipped with the correct pivot hardware. Because this version is supplied without bases, it is especially relevant for users who already have the matching lower bases installed and only need the upper assembly for an SR-rail optic.

The mount is made from steel, a material choice that suits a component exposed to repeated locking, unlocking, and field use. Steel helps the contact surfaces resist wear over time and supports a stable optic-to-rifle connection. Finished in black, the mount keeps a subdued appearance that matches most hunting optics and rifles without adding unnecessary visual bulk.

About Rusan

Rusan traces its roots to a family metalworking business that dates to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. Based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, Rusan-Mikron focuses on precision-made mounting solutions and related firearm components.

The company’s product range includes scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, along with adapter systems for night-vision and thermal devices. Rusan is also known for its adapter clamps for clip-on sights, including an original clip-on sight adapter introduced in 2009. That background is directly relevant here: the brand’s reputation is built on practical mechanical design, model-specific fit, and a strong emphasis on secure optic attachment across hunting and sporting rifle platforms.
