Rusan Pivot mount for Howa 1500, Pard NV008, one-piece

• Pivot quick-detach design: The pivot system lets the Pard NV008 be removed and reattached with repeatable positioning, which is useful for rifles that alternate between day and night setups.
• Howa 1500-specific fit: This one-piece mount is matched to the Howa 1500 platform, giving a dedicated interface instead of a generic clamp solution and helping maintain secure alignment on the rifle.
• Pard NV008 compatibility: Built for the Pard NV008 mounting standard, it provides a direct and purpose-made connection for this night-vision device rather than relying on improvised adapters.
• One-piece construction: A single-piece layout keeps the mounting system simple and rigid, reducing extra joints and making installation and handling more straightforward in field use.
• Steel-focused gunsmithing heritage: Made by Rusan in Croatia, this mount comes from a manufacturer known for scope mounts and night-vision adapters, which matters when repeatable fit and machining quality are priorities.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal are built around the needs of hunters and shooters who use night-vision and thermal devices on rifles that require a secure, detachable mounting solution. In Rusan’s current catalog, the series covers complete pivot mounts with bases as well as upper parts without bases, giving the system a modular structure that can be matched to both the rifle and the device. That approach makes the series especially relevant for users who want a dedicated fit rather than a universal compromise.

The range includes variants for different rifle mounting interfaces and model-specific fits, while device compatibility extends across brands such as Pard, HIKMICRO, Pulsar, InfiRay, ATN, Dedal, PixFra, and Yukon. In practice, that means the series is designed for modern digital night-vision and thermal use, where repeatable removal and reinstallation matter. The defining idea behind the line is a rifle-specific lower interface combined with a device-specific upper section, so the mount suits both the firearm and the optic. For users running clip-on or dedicated digital devices, that gives the series a clear role within Rusan’s mounting lineup.

About the Rusan Pivot mount for Howa 1500, Pard NV008, one-piece

This Rusan Pivot mount for Howa 1500 is a one-piece detachable mount configured for the Pard NV008 mounting standard. Its main advantage is that it combines a rifle-specific fit with a device-specific upper interface, so the mounting geometry is tailored to the Howa 1500 action rather than adapted from a generic base. That matters on a night-vision setup, where stable positioning and consistent reattachment are more important than on a casual range rifle.

The pivot format is especially useful for hunters who remove the device for transport, switch between optics, or separate daytime and nighttime configurations. A mount of this type is intended to return the device to the same position with minimal fuss, while the one-piece layout keeps the assembly straightforward and mechanically clean. Because it is built specifically for the Pard NV008, it avoids the extra complexity that can come with mixed-brand adapter stacks.

Its black finish keeps the mount visually discreet on the rifle, while the dedicated Howa 1500 compatibility makes it suitable across short, long, and mini variants listed for this platform. As part of Rusan’s NV and thermal mounting family, this model is aimed at practical field use: secure attachment, fast removal when needed, and a direct interface for a digital night-vision optic that is commonly used for hunting after dark.

About Rusan

Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. That background is important because Rusan’s reputation is closely tied to practical firearms engineering rather than to optics production itself.

The company focuses on scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, and it also produces adapter clamps for clip-on sights as well as adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. Rusan introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, a product category for which the brand is widely recognized among hunters and shooting users who need precise mechanical interfaces between rifles and electro-optics. This makes Rusan particularly relevant in categories where fit, repeatability, and machining quality are central to performance.
