Rusan Modular QR Adapter for Pulsar Forward

• Quick-release modular interface: The QR design lets the clip-on be attached and removed quickly, which helps when moving between daytime observation and thermal use without a slow reinstallation process.
• Built for Pulsar Forward devices: The adapter is made for the Pulsar Forward mounting standard, giving a dedicated connection between the clip-on and the riflescope-side adapter system.
• Modular multi-scope concept: Used within the Rusan modular system, this connector makes it practical to use one compatible clip-on with multiple riflescopes by pairing it with the correct rear adapter size.
• Steel construction: A steel body gives the adapter the rigidity needed for repeatable positioning and dependable field use, especially on equipment that is mounted and removed regularly.
• Broad rear-size compatibility: Compatibility with many rear adapter diameters, from 30 mm up to 67 mm, makes it easier to match the system to a wide range of riflescope objective housings.

About the Rusan Accessories Series

Rusan Accessories is the part of the Rusan lineup focused on the hardware that connects optics, rifles and clip-on devices into a practical field system. Within this family, the emphasis is on adapters and reduction rings for night-vision and thermal clip-ons, alongside the mounting components that support them. The series includes both conventional and modular adapter systems, giving users a choice between a direct dedicated setup and a more flexible arrangement built around interchangeable parts.

A key idea behind the series is adaptability. The modular concept is intended to let one clip-on device work across multiple rifles, or to pair different clip-on units with different riflescopes without replacing the entire mounting solution each time. That makes the series especially relevant for hunters and shooters who use thermal or night-vision equipment in more than one configuration. Across the range, the design philosophy is straightforward: durable metal construction, model-specific compatibility where needed, and a system-based approach that prioritizes secure attachment, repeatable positioning and simple handling in the field.

About the Rusan Modular QR Adapter for Pulsar Forward

The Rusan Modular QR Adapter for Pulsar Forward is a connector element for building a clip-on mounting setup around the Pulsar Forward mounting standard. Rather than acting as a one-piece universal clamp, it forms part of a modular arrangement in which the device-side connector is matched with the correct riflescope-side adapter. In practice, that gives the user a more flexible way to configure a thermal clip-on system, especially when the same device may be used on more than one riflescope.

The quick-release format is important in real use. A QR interface helps reduce the time needed to fit or remove the clip-on, which is useful when equipment must be changed in fading light or transported separately between outings. Because the adapter is intended for the Pulsar Forward platform, it provides a dedicated connection for compatible devices rather than a generic fit. The modular rear compatibility range, covering sizes from 30 mm to 67 mm depending on the chosen mating part, makes the system suitable for many riflescope objective housings.

Its steel construction is equally significant. For clip-on use, the mounting hardware has to resist wear from repeated installation while maintaining a stable interface between the riflescope and the thermal unit. A rigid steel body supports that goal and suits field use where reliability matters more than unnecessary complexity. Finished in black, the adapter keeps a low-profile appearance that matches typical hunting optics and thermal accessories.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business that date to 1983. The company entered scope-mount production in 1993 and has developed its reputation around precision-made mounting solutions for sporting and hunting firearms. Its range includes scope mounts, rings, Picatinny rails and firearm tuning products, with a particularly strong presence in adapters for clip-on night-vision and thermal devices.

That specialization is directly relevant here. Rusan introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009 and has continued to expand the concept into dedicated and modular systems for different optics platforms. The company’s background in metalworking and gunsmith-related products is reflected in a design approach centered on fit, durability and practical compatibility across a wide variety of rifles and optical devices.
