Rusan Front Foot for Pivot Mount

• Steel Construction: The front foot is made from steel, giving this pivot-mount spare part the strength and wear resistance needed for repeated installation and removal without quickly losing fit.
• Purpose-Built Replacement Part: As a dedicated front foot for the Rusan pivot system, it restores the correct interface of the mount rather than forcing a generic workaround that can compromise alignment.
• Compatible with Common Pivot Base Types: It is designed for use with EAW Type Pivot Bases and Dovetail Type Pivot Bases, making it suitable for servicing or rebuilding existing pivot-mount setups.
• Supports a Modular Mounting System: Because it belongs to the Rusan Pivot Mounts family, this part fits into a modular approach where worn or damaged components can be replaced individually instead of changing the complete mount.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are part of the company’s dedicated line of firearm optics mounts, built around a practical pivoting design for hunters and shooters who want a removable scope mount with repeatable positioning. Within the Rusan lineup, the series covers both complete mounts with bases and pivot-mount components sold separately, which makes the system useful both for new rifle builds and for maintaining an existing setup.

The series is defined by steel construction and quick-release fixation, giving it the mechanical strength expected from a hunting optics mount while still allowing the optic to be detached when needed. Rusan offers variants for different rifle and mounting standards, including 11 mm prisms and Picatinny rails, as well as model-specific solutions for rifles such as Anschutz and Antonio Zoli. The range also extends across multiple ring diameters, including 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm, which shows that the series is intended as a broad, adaptable mounting platform rather than a single fixed configuration.

About the Rusan Front Foot for Pivot Mount

The Rusan Front Foot for Pivot Mount is a dedicated spare part for maintaining or restoring a pivot-mount assembly that uses a front locking or bearing element as part of its attachment geometry. In a pivot system, the fit of the front section is critical because it helps establish how the mount engages the base and how consistently the optic returns to position after removal. By using a steel front foot, this component is suited to the repeated contact and mechanical stress that a detachable mount experiences in normal field use.

This part is especially relevant when servicing mounts that work with EAW Type Pivot Bases or Dovetail Type Pivot Bases. Instead of replacing an entire mount because one component is worn, damaged, or missing, the front foot allows the user to keep the original mounting system in service with the correct type of replacement part. That matters on hunting rifles and other firearms where a pivot mount is chosen for its clean profile and removable design. As part of the Rusan Pivot Mounts family, this front foot supports the modular character of the system and helps preserve the proper mechanical relationship between mount and base, which is essential for stable optic positioning.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993, establishing mounting systems as a core part of its expertise. Today, Rusan manufactures scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, with a strong focus on practical metal components for sporting and hunting rifles.

The company is also well known for its adapter solutions for modern sighting equipment. It introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009 and produces adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices, alongside rails for rifle models such as the Tikka T3, Sauer 202, and Zastava M70. That background is directly relevant to a spare pivot-mount component like this one, because it reflects Rusan’s long-standing specialization in precise firearm mounting hardware.
