Rusan Single Ring, 40 mm

• 40 mm ring body: This upper ring part is made for 40 mm optics, giving a correct fit that helps keep the scope tube supported evenly and securely.
• Steel construction: The steel body adds the rigidity needed in a mounting system, helping the ring hold alignment under repeated recoil and regular field use.
• Single replacement part: Supplied as one ring, it is suited to repairs, custom mount configurations, or replacing a damaged upper part without changing the full setup.
• Rusan Ø 8 mm interface: Compatibility with the Rusan Ø 8 mm interface makes this part relevant for maintaining or adapting an existing Rusan mounting arrangement.
• Low-profile KR 0.0 mm form: The non-extended design keeps the part simple and compact, which is useful when restoring the original geometry of a mount.

About the Rusan Spare Parts Series

Rusan Spare Parts covers the manufacturer’s replacement and component range for scope mounts and rings, with these items grouped among its scope-mount and ring parts and identified as upper parts. The series is aimed at shooters, gunsmiths, and users who want to repair or reconfigure an existing mounting system instead of replacing a complete mount. That makes it especially relevant for practical maintenance, workshop use, and matching a mount to a specific optic tube size.

Within the series, Rusan offers ring parts in several diameters, including 26, 30, 34, 35, 36, and 40 mm. The range also includes different height and attachment variations in related models, showing that the series is built around compatibility within the wider Rusan mounting ecosystem. A key characteristic of the line is its modular approach: parts are sold individually as one piece, so users can replace a worn or damaged component, build a tailored setup, or keep spare hardware on hand for service work. In practice, the series suits anyone who values a repairable, system-based mounting solution rather than a disposable one.

About the Rusan Single Ring, 40 mm

The Rusan Single Ring, 40 mm is an upper ring part intended for mounting systems that use a 40 mm scope body. Its role is straightforward but important: it provides the clamping half that secures the optic in place, making it useful for replacing a missing or damaged ring section or for completing a compatible custom mount arrangement. Because it is sold as a single piece, it fits workshop repairs and system maintenance especially well.

The ring is made from steel, a material chosen for strength and dimensional stability in a part that must keep even pressure on the optic tube. In practical use, that matters because a rigid ring helps the mount stay consistent under recoil and reduces the chance of movement caused by repeated firing or handling. The black finish keeps the appearance in line with most sporting and tactical optics setups, while the KR 0.0 mm configuration indicates a non-extended form that preserves a simple, direct fit within the mount.

Compatibility is centered on two points: the ring is sized for 40 mm optics, and it matches the Rusan Ø 8 mm interface below. That makes it a specialized spare part rather than a universal ring, and that specialization is exactly its advantage. For users already working within the Rusan system, it offers a precise way to restore the original mounting arrangement without changing the rest of the hardware.

About Rusan

Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer whose roots go back to 1983, when the Rusan family’s metalworking business began. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company moved into scope-mount production in 1993. Based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, Rusan-Mikron focuses on precision-made firearm mounting components and related parts.

The company is particularly known for scope mounts, scope rings, and Picatinny rails, along with firearm tuning products and adapters for modern optical devices. Its range also includes adapter clamps for clip-on sights and adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices, reflecting a strong emphasis on practical compatibility between rifles and optics. That background is directly relevant here: Rusan’s experience lies in producing the mechanical interface parts that need accurate machining, repeatable fit, and dependable field use.
