Riton X1 Primal 3-9x40 LB

• 3-9x magnification range: Covers the practical distances most hunting rifles see, giving a wide enough view for closer shots at 3x and enough image scale at 9x for careful placement farther out.
• 40 mm objective lens: Balances light-gathering ability with a trim hunting profile, helping maintain a bright image without adding unnecessary bulk to a stalking or rimfire setup.
• Adjustable parallax from 15 m to infinity: Lets the scope be tuned for short and long distances, which is especially useful on rimfire rifles, airguns, and mixed-range hunting where target distance changes often.
• Capped multi-turn turrets: Protect the adjustments from accidental movement in the field while still providing generous elevation and windage travel for zeroing and load changes.
• Fully multicoated optics in a waterproof, fogproof, shockproof build: Support a clearer sight picture and dependable operation when weather, recoil, and temperature changes are part of normal use.

About the Riton X1 Series

Riton X1 sits in the brand’s entry-level hunting-focused range and is built around a simple idea: provide practical riflescope features in a straightforward package for hunters who want dependable field use without unnecessary complexity. Within Riton’s broader lineup, the Primal line is aimed at hunting applications, while Conquer models are positioned more toward long-range shooting. That gives the X1 Primal family a clear role as a conventional hunting optic with familiar magnification ranges and uncomplicated controls.

The series includes configurations such as 3-9x40, 4-12x50, and 4-16x44, covering common needs from woodland stalking to general-purpose big-game hunting. Across the line, Riton describes the scopes as using fully multi-coated optics and integrated magnification throw levers, with capped, zero-resettable turrets that suit practical field rifles more than dial-heavy target use. The overall design philosophy favors a traditional tube format, familiar handling, and optical performance that supports fast target acquisition in changing light. For hunters choosing a riflescope for deer, small game, or general-purpose sporting use, the X1 series is intended to keep operation intuitive while still offering the adjustment features needed for real field conditions.

About the Riton X1 Primal 3-9x40 LB

Riton X1 Primal 3-9x40 LB is a classic hunting riflescope built around one of the most versatile magnification ranges in the category. At 3-9x, it handles the broad middle ground between close woodland shots and more deliberate aiming across open ground, making it a sensible fit for stalking rifles, general-purpose hunting setups, and rimfire rifles used at varied distances. The 40.00 mm objective lens keeps the scope compact enough for easy carry while still supporting a bright, usable image in the first and last light periods when game is often active.

This model also stands out for its parallax adjustment from 15 m to infinity, a feature that adds flexibility beyond a basic fixed-parallax hunting scope. That wider adjustment range is especially useful for shooters moving between short-range rimfire work and longer centerfire distances, because it helps keep the target image and reticle visually aligned for more precise aiming. The fast-focus eyepiece speeds up reticle sharpening, while the field of view range of 11.00 m/100m to 3.67 m/100m gives a practical balance between situational awareness on low power and finer target definition on high power.

Mechanically, the scope is set up for field reliability rather than constant turret dialing. Capped turrets help prevent accidental adjustment when the rifle is carried through brush or packed in a vehicle, yet the 80.00 MOA elevation and windage range still gives ample room for zeroing. A 25.4 mm tube, nitrogen filling, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction keep the format familiar and durable, while fully multicoated lenses support contrast and image clarity in everyday hunting conditions.

About Riton

Riton Optics was founded in 2013, with its initial consumer sales beginning in 2016. The company is based in Tucson, Arizona, United States, and focuses on sporting optics such as riflescopes, red-dot sights, and binoculars. Its product families include Primal, Tactix, and Conquer, each aimed at a different style of use, from hunting to tactical applications.

Within that lineup, Riton positions the Primal line toward hunting optics, while Tactix is identified as a tactical-focused range. Across its optics, the company uses features such as fully multi-coated lenses with anti-reflective coatings, and in some models it also employs high-density and extra-low-dispersion glass. That combination gives Riton a clear place in the market: practical rifle and field optics designed around usable optical performance, familiar controls, and application-specific product families rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
