Redding .279'' Neck Sizing Bushing

1. Precision Neck Sizing: This Redding .279" Neck Sizing Bushing provides avid shooters and reloaders with unparalleled control over cartridge neck tension. By precisely sizing only the case neck, it helps to significantly extend brass life by reducing unnecessary work-hardening of the case body, a critical factor for competitive shooters and hunters who demand longevity from their premium brass.

2. Optimized Bullet Retention: Manufactured from heat-treated steel and polished to exacting standards, this bushing ensures a uniform and smooth sizing process. The ability to select specific bushing sizes in 0.001-inch increments allows for precise customization of neck tension, leading to more consistent bullet seating and improved accuracy shot after shot. This level of control is essential for crafting match-grade ammunition.

3. Enhanced Accuracy and Consistency: As a crucial component in bushing-style dies, this neck sizing bushing allows reloaders to achieve optimal concentricity, which directly translates to superior downrange accuracy. It helps to prevent bullet runout by ensuring the case neck is perfectly aligned, a prime objective for hunters targeting distant game or competitive shooters aiming for tight groups.

4. Durable Construction: Built to Redding's renowned standards for quality and precision, this bushing offers exceptional durability and a long service life. Its robust design stands up to repeated use, making it a reliable addition to any reloader's bench, whether preparing high-volume practice ammunition or meticulously crafting custom loads for hunting expeditions.

ABOUT THE REDDING .279'' NECK SIZING BUSHING

The Redding .279" Neck Sizing Bushing stands apart in the world of reloading dies by offering unparalleled precision for your ammunition. Unlike traditional full-length sizing options, this bushing specifically addresses the critical dimensions of the case neck, allowing for fine-tuned control over bullet tension without overworking the entire case. This targeted approach is invaluable for serious reloaders, including precision shooters, competitive enthusiasts, and dedicated hunters who demand the utmost consistency and accuracy from their cartridges. Crafted from heat-treated steel and polished to a mirror finish, it ensures extremely smooth operation and minimal friction, preserving your brass for many more reloading cycles. By reducing the amount of brass that is worked during each reload, this bushing not only extends the life of your valuable components but also contributes to more uniform neck tension, a key factor in achieving superior bullet concentricity and ultimately, tighter groups downrange. Its specific 0.279-inch internal diameter is often chosen when a very light neck tension is desired, making it a specialized tool for optimizing cartridge performance and enhancing overall shooting experience.
