Pulsar Ultra 850 IR Illuminator

1. Optimized Wavelength: The 850 nm wavelength of the Ultra 850 IR Illuminator offers a powerful and bright illumination for night vision devices. While digital night vision devices can detect wavelengths up to 950 nm, this 850 nm output ensures superior visibility for analog night vision units, which typically detect infrared light up to 850 nm. It provides excellent light amplification with a slight, faint red glow that may be visible to animals such as wild boar or deer if directed at them within 50 meters, a common characteristic of high-power 850 nm emitters.

2. Adjustable Beam: Featuring an adjustable beam, this illuminator allows users to seamlessly switch between a broad flood for wide area observation and a concentrated spot for extended range illumination. This versatility makes it highly adaptable for various applications, from tracking moving targets to observing stationary objects at a distance, ensuring optimal light distribution for any scenario.

3. Variable Power Control: Equipped with sophisticated variable power control, the Ultra 850 IR Illuminator enables precision adjustment of its output intensity. This feature is crucial for managing battery life and preventing over-illumination, which can cause 'blooming' in certain night vision devices. By allowing users to dial in the perfect amount of light, it enhances image clarity and target identification.

4. Robust Construction: Built with a durable housing and designed for the rigorous demands of outdoor use, the Ultra 850 ensures reliability in challenging environments. Its sturdy construction protects against impacts and adverse weather conditions, making it a dependable accessory for hunters, security professionals, and outdoor enthusiasts who require consistent performance in low-light settings.

ABOUT THE PULSAR ULTRA 850 IR ILLUMINATOR

The Pulsar Ultra 850 IR Illuminator distinguishes itself with its exceptional illumination capabilities, specifically engineered for optimal performance across a wide range of night vision devices. Unlike standard illuminators, the Ultra 850 is designed to provide powerful and uniform light, making it an indispensable tool for hunting, tactical operations, and sport shooting in complete darkness. Its core strength lies in its 850 nm high-power LED emitter, a wavelength that offers significant visibility for both analog and digital night vision systems. While digital devices can register wavelengths up to 950 nanometers, and analog devices up to 850 nanometers, the 850 nm output of this illuminator provides a bright, crisp image, albeit with a faint red glow that can be detected by animals like wild boar and deer if pointed directly into their eyes at moderate ranges (up to 50 meters). The robust construction ensures durability, while its adjustable beam allows for seamless transition from a wide floodlight to a focused spotlight, adapting to various observation distances and scenarios. This model's focus on powerful and adaptable infrared output solidifies its position as a high-performance accessory for serious night vision users.
