Pulsar NV Challenger GS 1x20 DOS adapter

• DOS adapter interface: Connects a Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 night vision monocular to a daytime optical riflescope, turning the scope’s familiar reticle into the aiming reference for low-light use.
• Reducing ring system: The adapter is supplied to work with different eyepiece diameters, helping achieve a secure fit on compatible optics instead of limiting the setup to one exact scope size.
• Aluminium construction: The metal body adds durability where the adapter is repeatedly mounted and removed, while keeping weight at 300.00 g for practical field handling.
• Support for additional IR illumination: The design allows an extra Pulsar IR flashlight to be fitted, which can improve image brightness and extend useful night shooting distance in darker conditions.
• Simple day-to-night conversion: By pairing a daytime riflescope with a compatible Challenger monocular, the adapter offers a straightforward way to add night capability without replacing the primary optic.

About the Pulsar Accessories Series

Pulsar Accessories is the support line built around the brand’s night vision and thermal platforms, with a strong focus on making core devices more adaptable in real use. Within this family, Pulsar’s adapter systems are designed to bridge dedicated electro-optical devices and conventional daytime optics, so users can configure equipment around a specific task instead of relying on a single fixed setup. The series is especially relevant to shooters and observers who want to extend the role of an existing optic with a compatible front or rear-mounted accessory.

A defining characteristic of the series is its emphasis on practical mounting solutions. Pulsar uses adapter formats that simplify installation and removal while maintaining compatibility across different host optics. In the broader adapter range, interchangeable rings accommodate varying outer diameters, and the design approach prioritizes repeatable attachment, straightforward handling, and minimal disruption to the daytime optic. That makes the series useful for users who move between daylight and low-light applications and need accessories that are compact, purpose-built, and mechanically simple.

About the Pulsar NV Challenger GS 1x20 DOS adapter

The Pulsar NV Challenger GS 1x20 DOS adapter is a dedicated mounting accessory for pairing a Challenger GS 1x20 night vision monocular with a daytime optical riflescope. Its role is straightforward but important: it creates the physical interface that lets the monocular work in combination with the riflescope, so the shooter can continue using the scope’s own reticle for aiming after dark. In practice, that preserves the familiar sight picture and handling of the daytime optic while adding night vision capability to the setup.

The adapter is built from aluminium, which suits an accessory that must hold alignment securely while remaining manageable on the rifle. At 300.00 g, it adds useful functionality without becoming overly cumbersome for a compact night shooting arrangement. The included reducing-ring concept is equally practical, because it allows the adapter to fit compatible riflescope eyepieces of different diameters rather than forcing a one-size-only installation. That flexibility matters when matching older or less standardized optics.

Another useful aspect of the DOS design is support for an additional IR flashlight. When ambient light is poor, supplementary infrared illumination can improve image brightness and help extend the effective observation and aiming distance of the night vision system. Overall, this adapter is a purpose-built solution for users who want to convert a compatible daytime riflescope into a night-capable setup with the Challenger platform, while keeping the system mechanically simple and familiar to operate.

About Pulsar

Pulsar traces its history to 1991, when a group of enthusiasts began making observation devices. The brand itself launched in 2009 with the Digisight N550 digital night-vision riflescope, and it is part of Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide, a high-technology group headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania. Pulsar focuses on optical and electro-optical products for daytime use, digital night vision, and thermal imaging.

Its range covers riflescopes, binoculars, monoculars, clip-on attachments, and multispectral devices, reflecting a strong specialization in observation and aiming equipment for low-light use. Important milestones include the Quantum, introduced in 2012 as Pulsar’s first thermal-imaging monocular, and the Apex, introduced in 2014 as its first thermal-imaging riflescope. Today, Pulsar is especially well known for product families such as Thermion thermal riflescopes and Digex digital scopes, which underline the company’s focus on practical field-ready electro-optics.
