Pixfra Pegasus P435

• 384×288 VOx sensor with 12 μm pixels: Delivers a clear thermal image with enough detail for confident target recognition while keeping the scope compact and efficient in the field.
• 35 mm F1.0 objective and 1800 m detection range: Combines strong thermal collection with long detection capability, helping users pick up heat signatures early in open ground, woodland edges, and low-visibility conditions.
• 1440×1080 OLED display with PIPS processing: Presents a sharp, high-contrast image with low-latency viewing, which makes scanning, tracking, and shot placement feel more natural through a traditional riflescope format.
• Traditional 30 mm tube layout: Gives the Pegasus a familiar mounting profile and shooting position, so it integrates more easily into established hunting rifle setups than bulkier thermal designs.
• Up to 15 hours of battery life with recording and WiFi: Supports long outings without frequent charging while still allowing video capture, image storage, and wireless connectivity for reviewing or sharing footage.

About the Pixfra Pegasus Series

The Pixfra Pegasus series is Pixfra’s dedicated line of thermal riflescopes, built for users who want a familiar day-scope form combined with modern thermal imaging. Within the brand’s outdoor lineup, Pegasus sits as a traditional tube-style option for hunting, outdoor exploration, and wildlife observation, with an emphasis on straightforward handling and practical field use. The series uses an uncooled vanadium-oxide detector across the range, paired with a 12 μm pixel pitch and 50 Hz refresh rate for smooth image presentation and responsive tracking.

A defining characteristic of the series is its combination of a 1440×1080 FHD OLED display and Pixfra Image Processing System (PIPS), which is intended to improve perceived sharpness, contrast, and viewing comfort during extended observation. Pegasus models also share a 30 mm tube diameter, making them closer in feel to conventional hunting optics than many purpose-built thermal housings. Depending on the model, the series is available with 384 × 288 or 640 × 512 detector resolutions and with 35 mm or 50 mm objectives, allowing users to choose between a wider field of view or more reach. Built-in recording with audio, recoil-activated video, and 64 GB of internal storage further position the series as a practical thermal platform for documenting hunts and reviewing shots.

About the Pixfra Pegasus P435

The Pixfra Pegasus P435 is the 35 mm, 384×288 version in the Pegasus thermal riflescope family, designed for shooters who want a balanced mix of detection reach, field of view, and manageable base magnification. Its fixed 3.19x magnification gives a more deliberate, observation-friendly image than lower-power thermal sights, while still remaining practical for hunting over fields, tracks, and woodland margins. Paired with a 35 mm F1.0 objective and a stated 1800 m detection range, it is well suited to locating heat sources early and then following them with enough image scale for more confident assessment.

The thermal core uses a 12 μm VOx uncooled sensor with ≤30 mK NETD and a 50 Hz refresh rate, which helps the P435 show smaller temperature differences while keeping movement smooth during scanning and target tracking. The 1440×1080 OLED display works with Pixfra’s PIPS processing to produce a crisp viewing image with strong contrast, and the short display latency helps the scope feel more natural when moving between observation and shooting. A multi-reticle system gives flexibility for different preferences and rifle setups, while video recording, image capture, video output, WiFi, and built-in storage add useful documentation and sharing functions.

Physically, the P435 follows the Pegasus design philosophy of a 30 mm tube-style thermal scope with a lower, more familiar mounting position. Its metal housing, waterproof and fogproof construction, and operating range from -30°C to +50°C support use across demanding weather conditions. With up to 15 hours of battery life, it is configured for long sessions in the field without making power management the main concern.

About Pixfra

Pixfra is the outdoor brand of Zhejiang Pixfra Technology Co., Ltd., based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. The company develops thermal imaging modules, cores, outdoor products, cameras, and related solutions, giving it a technical base that extends beyond finished consumer devices alone. In the outdoor segment, Pixfra focuses on thermal products for hunting, outdoor exploration, and animal observation, with a catalog that includes thermal monoculars, thermal scopes, thermal front attachments, multispectral binoculars, and digital day-and-night scopes.

Within that range, Pixfra has built product families such as Pegasus, Arc, and Mile, each aimed at different use cases and form factors. The brand also uses proprietary processing platforms such as PIPS 2.0 in selected series, reflecting a focus on image handling as well as sensor hardware. For thermal riflescopes like the Pegasus P435, Pixfra’s relevance lies in combining detector technology, image processing, and field-oriented product design into complete hunting and observation optics.
