Pachmayr Tactical Grip Glove S&W M&P Series

• Slip-on grip enhancement: The Tactical Grip Glove adds a more secure, hand-filling surface to the S&W M&P full-size frame, improving purchase during rapid handling and helping the pistol stay consistent in the hand.
• Decelerator material: Pachmayr uses its Decelerator rubber compound to soften the feel of recoil and reduce harshness against the palm, which helps maintain comfort over longer practice sessions.
• Fit for S&W M&P full-size pistols: This model is shaped for the S&W M&P and M&P 2.0 Full Size, giving a more tailored fit than a generic sleeve and helping preserve control without a bulky feel.
• Improved control in adverse conditions: The textured rubber surface helps the pistol remain manageable with wet hands, gloves, or cold-weather use, which is valuable for defensive, duty, and range applications.
• Simple upgrade with no permanent modification: As a glove-style grip accessory, it changes handling characteristics without altering the pistol itself, making it a practical option for shooters who want more traction and cushioning.

About the Pachmayr Accessories Series

Pachmayr Accessories covers a broad range of shooting-support products built around better handling, recoil management, and day-to-day practicality. The series includes handgun and revolver grips, rifle grip options, and recoil pads for long guns, reflecting Pachmayr’s long-standing focus on the points where the shooter and firearm actually meet. Within the handgun segment, the line spans everything from slip-on rubber designs to more specialized grip formats, giving shooters options for carry pistols, service handguns, revolvers, and sporting firearms.

A defining trait of the series is its emphasis on practical ergonomics rather than cosmetic change. Many Pachmayr products are designed to improve traction, soften felt recoil, and make the firearm sit more naturally in the hand under repeated use. Current pistol-grip options include slip-on rubber, G10 Tactical, and Renegade laminate designs, while the wider family also includes established revolver lines such as American Legend and Diamond Pro. Across the range, the design philosophy remains consistent: durable materials, straightforward installation where possible, and a shape that supports steadier control for field, defensive, and range use.

About the Pachmayr Tactical Grip Glove S&W M&P Series

The Pachmayr Tactical Grip Glove S&W M&P Series is a handgun grip accessory made for shooters who want a more secure hold on the S&W M&P and M&P 2.0 Full Size without changing the pistol permanently. Instead of replacing factory grip components, this model slips over the frame to add a more tactile outer surface and a slightly fuller feel in the hand. That makes it especially useful for defensive pistols, training guns, and service-style handguns that see frequent draw-and-fire practice.

Its key material is Pachmayr Decelerator, a rubber compound chosen not only for traction but also for cushioning. In practical use, that means the glove helps reduce the sharp feel of recoil against the palm while also improving control during fast follow-up shots. The added texture can be particularly helpful when hands are cold, damp, or gloved, where a factory grip may feel less secure. Because the fit is model-specific rather than universal, the sleeve is better able to stay in place and maintain a consistent gripping surface through repeated use.

For shooters who like the reliability and layout of the M&P full-size platform but want more comfort and purchase, this Pachmayr grip glove offers a simple solution. It keeps the pistol compact enough for practical handling while adding the kind of surface control that matters most during recoil, rapid strings, and extended range sessions.

About Pachmayr

Pachmayr was founded by Frank Pachmayr in 1929, and the company grew out of a custom gun shop in Los Angeles, California. Over time, the brand became closely associated with firearm interface products such as grips and recoil pads, with its first recoil pad introduced in 1949 and rubber handgun grips reaching the market in the early 1960s. That long focus on shooter contact points still defines the brand’s place in the shooting-accessories market.

Today, Pachmayr is known for making handgun grips, recoil pads, gunsmithing tools, and related shooting accessories. The brand joined Lyman in 1996, and its product range now includes established grip families such as Diamond Pro, G10, Renegade, and American Legend. Pachmayr is also known for its Decelerator material, used in recoil-reducing products where comfort and control matter most. This background makes the brand particularly relevant in categories where grip security, recoil absorption, and practical ergonomics are the priority.
