Meprolight Tru-Dot for Glock G17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23

• Self-illuminated tritium system: The three-dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready for defensive use at any hour.
• Adjustable rear sight: Windage and elevation adjustment let the sight be tuned to the pistol and ammunition, which helps shooters achieve a more precise point of impact than with a fixed set.
• Steel construction: A steel body gives the sight set the durability needed for daily carry, repeated holstering, and regular range use on duty or defensive handguns.
• Three-dot alignment: The familiar 3-dot layout supports fast front-sight acquisition and straightforward alignment, which is especially useful under stress or in reduced light.
• Glock-specific fit: Built for compatible Glock G17, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23 pistols, this set serves as a direct replacement for factory sights and upgrades low-light capability without changing the handling of the handgun.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot is the company’s established line of self-illuminated handgun sights for shooters who want a simple iron-sight system that remains usable in daylight, dim interiors, and nighttime conditions. Within Meprolight’s handgun range, the series covers fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height configurations, giving it a broad role across defensive carry, duty pistols, and practical range use. The common idea behind the family is a consistent three-dot sight picture that does not depend on batteries or external activation.

Across the series, tritium illumination provides a visible aiming reference in low light while preserving the familiar look and handling of conventional pistol sights. Adjustable variants are intended for shooters who want to fine-tune windage and elevation, while suppressor-height versions address pistols set up for suppressor use or co-witnessing applications. The Tru-Dot family is also offered for handguns from multiple manufacturers, which reflects its role as a practical replacement for factory sights rather than a specialized competition-only system. In use, the series emphasizes quick alignment, durable metal construction, and a sight picture that remains consistent from bright daytime carry to reduced-light defensive conditions.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Glock G17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23

This Meprolight Tru-Dot set is configured for compatible Glock G17, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23 pistols and is aimed at shooters who want a dependable night-sight upgrade without moving away from a traditional iron-sight setup. Its defining feature is the self-illuminated tritium system, which keeps the aiming dots visible in low-light and no-light conditions without switches, charging, or battery management. That makes it well suited to defensive carry, service use, and home-defense pistols that may need to be brought into action immediately.

Unlike a fixed sight set, this model uses an adjustable rear sight, giving the shooter the ability to refine point of impact for a preferred load or individual pistol. That added control is useful for those who want a more exact zero, whether for regular training, duty qualification, or precise defensive practice. The square rear sight and green 3-dot arrangement keep the sight picture familiar and easy to read, helping the eye pick up the front sight quickly while maintaining clear left-right reference in reduced light.

The sight body is made from steel, which supports long service life under repeated slide movement, holster wear, and routine handling. Finished in black, it preserves a subdued appearance in daylight while the tritium system takes over when ambient light drops. For Glock owners who want a robust handgun night sight set with battery-free illumination and the added flexibility of adjustment, this model offers a practical balance of speed, durability, and control.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian users. Its work spans conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, magnified optics, and thermal and night-vision products, which gives the brand a broad background in both small-arms sighting systems and more advanced observation technology.

As a division of SK Group, Meprolight focuses on products for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines, with an emphasis on practical durability and low-light capability. That background is especially relevant to handgun night sights such as the Tru-Dot series, where the company’s long experience with self-illuminated aiming systems translates into straightforward, duty-oriented designs.
