Meprolight Tru-Dot for Beretta M9 & 92

• Self-Illuminated Tritium: The green tritium inserts stay visible in low light and at night without batteries, giving the pistol a constant aiming reference for defensive use, duty carry, or home protection.
• Three-Dot Sight Picture: The fixed 3-dot layout keeps the alignment familiar in both daylight and darkness, helping the shooter pick up the front sight quickly and confirm sight picture under stress.
• Steel Construction: A steel body gives the sight set the durability needed for regular carry, repeated holstering, and hard use on a service-size Beretta platform.
• Fixed-Sight Simplicity: With a fixed front and rear arrangement, the system favors a clean, snag-free setup that stays straightforward to use and does not rely on adjustment controls in the field.
• Beretta M9 and 92 Fit: Built for Beretta M9 and 92 pattern pistols, this Tru-Dot set offers a model-specific upgrade for shooters who want better low-light visibility than standard factory sights.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot sights are the company’s established line of self-illuminated handgun sights, built for shooters who want a simple iron-sight system that remains usable from bright daylight into low-light conditions. The series covers fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height configurations, which places it across a broad range of defensive, duty, and practical shooting roles rather than limiting it to one handgun setup. A defining feature of the family is its three-dot tritium sight picture, designed to keep the visual reference consistent when ambient light changes.

Within Meprolight’s handgun catalog, the Tru-Dot line serves shooters who prefer traditional iron sights but need better visibility than plain black or white-dot factory units. The tritium system provides an aiming reference without batteries, while model-specific fitment allows the sights to replace factory front and rear units on compatible pistols. Some variants are offered with different dot color combinations, and adjustable versions add windage and elevation control for users who want a more tunable setup. Across the range, the design philosophy stays focused on durability, low-light readiness, and familiar sight alignment for everyday carry, service pistols, and range use.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Beretta M9 & 92

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Beretta M9 & 92 is a dedicated tritium night sight set for one of the most widely used full-size service pistol platforms. Its main advantage is not complexity but clarity: the fixed green 3-dot arrangement gives the shooter a sight picture that is easy to read in daylight and remains visible when light drops, without depending on switches, batteries, or charging. That makes it well suited to defensive pistols, duty handguns, and range guns that may be used across changing light conditions.

Because this model uses a fixed sight adjustment, it favors a straightforward setup with no external controls to manage. The square rear sight supports a clean, conventional rear notch picture, helping the front dot stand out for faster alignment. On a Beretta M9 or 92, that familiar geometry works well for shooters who want a traditional sighting system rather than an optic-ready or competition-style arrangement.

The sight body is made from steel, which matters on a handgun that may see repeated slide movement, holster wear, and regular handling. Combined with the black finish, the construction keeps the set practical and unobtrusive while preserving the visibility of the illuminated dots. For owners of Beretta M9 and 92 pistols, this model is a focused upgrade: it keeps the handling of the original handgun intact while adding a low-light aiming reference that is always present.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian users. Its product range covers pistol, rifle, shotgun, and carbine sighting systems, alongside magnified optics, reflex sights, night-vision devices, and thermal products.

That background is especially relevant in the handgun sight category, where Meprolight has built its reputation on robust tritium-illuminated sights designed for practical use rather than decorative features. As a division of SK Group, the company combines conventional iron sights with more advanced electro-optical systems, but it remains particularly well known for self-illuminated products that keep working without batteries. The result is a manufacturer closely associated with duty-oriented sighting solutions and low-light capability.
