Levenhuk Karma PLUS 10x32

• Compact roof-prism design: The slim single-hinge body is easier to pack for hiking, travel, and everyday field use than a bulkier Porro binocular, while still giving a steady 10x view.
• 10x32 configuration: This magnification and objective size balance reach and portability, making it practical for scanning distant terrain without carrying a full-size binocular all day.
• Fully multicoated optics: Multi-coated lenses help preserve brightness and contrast, which makes details easier to pick out in changing light and improves overall viewing comfort.
• Nitrogen-filled waterproof housing: The sealed construction helps prevent internal fogging and supports reliable use in rain, damp air, and rapid temperature changes outdoors.
• User-adjustable fit: Central focusing, right-eye diopter adjustment, and twist-up eyecup design make it easier to tailor the binocular to different users, including many eyeglass wearers.

About the Levenhuk Karma Plus Series

Levenhuk Karma Plus was introduced during the brand’s spring 2015 product-line renewal as a more advanced step above the standard Karma range. The series was developed as a compact roof-prism binocular family for active users who want travel-friendly dimensions without giving up the handling and image quality needed for regular outdoor observation. Across the line, the models cover 8x, 10x, and 12x magnification with 25 mm, 32 mm, and 42 mm objective sizes, giving the series a broad spread from lightweight everyday carry to more observation-focused formats.

A defining trait of the series is its combination of roof prisms, BaK-4 glass optics, and three-element eyepieces, paired with ergonomics intended to suit different users. Levenhuk designed the range to accommodate eyeglass wearers and to allow individual adjustment, while the nitrogen-filled waterproof housings help the binoculars stay usable in poor weather and changing temperatures. The light-gray rubber-armored exterior also reflects the series’ practical design approach: compact, easy to grip, and suited to travel, hiking, and general outdoor use where portability matters as much as optical clarity.

About the Levenhuk Karma PLUS 10x32

Levenhuk Karma PLUS 10x32 is aimed at users who want more reach than an 8x compact binocular, but still need a format that is easy to carry on foot. Its 10x magnification helps bring distant landmarks, wildlife, and terrain features closer, while the 32 mm objective lenses keep the binocular smaller and easier to pack than a full-size 42 mm model. That makes it a sensible choice for hiking binocular use, travel observation, and general outdoor scanning where weight and bulk need to stay under control.

The optical system uses fully multicoated lenses and a Schmidt/Pechan roof-prism design, supporting a clear, contrast-rich image in a compact housing. A 98.18 m/1000m field of view gives enough width for following moving subjects and reading the landscape, while the 3.20 mm exit pupil keeps the image comfortable in normal daylight and mixed light conditions. The binocular also offers 14.00 mm eye relief, central focusing, and a right-eyepiece diopter adjustment from -4 / +4, so it can be tuned to the user rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all viewing position.

In practical field use, the build is just as important as the optics. The nitrogen-filled, waterproof and fogproof body is designed for damp weather and temperature swings, and the rubber-armored single-hinge housing is easier to hold securely when conditions are cold or wet. With a 4.00 m close focus, it also remains useful for nearby observation, not only distant subjects, which adds versatility for travel and nature viewing.

About Levenhuk

Levenhuk began operations in 2002, initially focusing on markets outside the United States. The company describes itself as an American manufacturer of optical instruments with headquarters in Tampa, Florida, while stating that its manufacturing facilities are in China. Its catalog covers a broad spread of observation equipment, including binoculars, spotting scopes, telescopes, monoculars, and microscopes, which gives the brand a strong focus on accessible sporting and educational optics.

Within binoculars, Levenhuk has developed several distinct families, including Atom, Karma, Sherman, and Vegas, each aimed at different levels of optical performance and use cases. The company also extends beyond conventional daytime optics with products such as Fatum thermal scopes and Halo and Atom Digital night-vision devices. That wider product range is relevant here because it shows Levenhuk’s experience across both traditional optical design and more specialized field-observation equipment.
