Konus Explo 10x25

• Compact 10x25 format: The 10x magnification brings distant details closer while the 25 mm objectives keep the binocular small enough for travel, events and everyday carry.
• Roof prism construction: The Schmidt/Pechan roof prism design keeps the body slim and easy to pack, making it practical when space and weight matter.
• Dual-hinge body: The folding dual-hinge layout reduces bulk in a bag or jacket pocket and makes the binocular easier to carry on day trips.
• Central focusing system: A central focus mechanism allows quick adjustment when switching between near and distant subjects, which is useful for general outdoor viewing.
• Waterproof and fogproof build: Sealed construction helps the binocular remain usable in wet weather and changing temperatures, adding reliability for outdoor use.

About the Konus Explo Series

The Konus Explo series is designed as a practical line of compact binoculars for users who want straightforward outdoor optics in a portable format. Within the Konus range, the series sits as an accessible option for travel, casual nature observation, sightseeing and general everyday use, with an emphasis on low bulk, simple handling and dependable field utility. Rather than focusing on large objective lenses or specialist long-distance observation, Explo models are built around the idea that a binocular should be easy to carry often enough to be genuinely useful.

Typical characteristics of the series include roof prism construction for a slimmer profile, folding bodies that store easily, and user-friendly focusing systems suited to fast target acquisition in changing environments. The optical concept prioritizes a balanced combination of reach and portability, making the series suitable for users who need more detail than the naked eye can provide without moving to a larger full-size binocular. In practical terms, the Explo family is aimed at people who value convenience, weather-resistant construction and compact dimensions for day trips, sporting events and light outdoor use.

About the Konus Explo 10x25

The Konus Explo 10x25 is built for users who want meaningful magnification in a format that remains easy to carry throughout the day. Its 10x magnification gives it enough reach for observing distant landmarks, wildlife or action on a field, while the 25 mm objective lenses keep the binocular compact and light enough for travel and casual outdoor use. This balance makes it especially suitable as a pocket binocular for situations where a larger model would be left behind.

The binocular uses a Schmidt/Pechan roof prism system, which helps maintain a narrow, streamlined shape. Combined with the dual-hinge body, this makes the Explo 10x25 easy to fold down for storage in a small bag or jacket pocket. A central focusing system keeps operation simple and quick, which is useful when moving between subjects at different distances during walks, sightseeing or event viewing.

With a field of view of 100.00 m/1000m, the binocular offers a practical viewing window for scanning open areas while still benefiting from the extra image scale of 10x magnification. The 2.50 mm exit pupil supports daytime use where compactness is the priority. Its metal construction, along with waterproof and fogproof protection, adds durability for regular outdoor use in variable weather, making this model a sensible choice for portable observation rather than stationary long-session viewing.

About Konus

Konus was founded in 1979 in Verona, Italy, and has built its name around practical optics for field and sporting use. The company focuses strongly on optics for hunting and target shooting, while also offering a broader range of outdoor observation products. This combination gives Konus experience across both aiming optics and general-purpose viewing instruments, with product development shaped by real use in the field rather than by specialist bench use alone.

Alongside binoculars and other outdoor optics, Konus is known for riflescope families such as the Konuspro M-30 and T-30. Its range has also included optics with laser-etched reticles, reflecting the brand’s long-standing attention to durable and functional optical components. Today, Konus continues to serve users looking for accessible sporting and outdoor optics with straightforward, field-oriented design.
