Hi VIZ LiteWave Interchangeable Sight, Glock Pistols

• Interchangeable LitePipes: The front sight accepts replaceable fiber-optic inserts, so the sight picture can be tuned with different colors to suit lighting conditions, target contrast, or personal preference.
• LiteWave exoskeleton design: The protective wave-shaped housing exposes more of the fiber to ambient light while shielding it from impact, helping the front dot stay bright without making the sight fragile.
• Factory-height front sight: Built to work with the factory rear sight, this model upgrades front-sight visibility without forcing a full sight-set change or altering the pistol’s handling.
• All-steel construction: A steel body gives the sight the durability needed for regular carry, training, and range use, with better resistance to wear than polymer alternatives.
• Fixed 3-dot alignment: The bright front element supports fast front-sight acquisition in daylight, making it easier to center the pistol quickly for defensive practice, recreational shooting, or competition drills.

About the Hi Viz LITEWAVE Series

HIVIZ introduced the LITEWAVE series in November 2014 as a fiber-optic sight family built for shooters who want a brighter sight picture without moving to electronics. The series covers handgun and rifle applications, with front and rear configurations available across multiple firearm platforms. Its defining feature is the use of fiber-optic LitePipes that gather ambient light to create a clear aiming reference in daylight and transitional light.

A key part of the series is the diagonal-wave exoskeleton design, which leaves more of the LitePipe exposed to light while still protecting it from knocks and holster wear. LITEWAVE sights also use interchangeable LitePipes, allowing shooters to change sight color rather than being locked into one setup. That flexibility makes the series suitable for competition, recreational shooting, training, hunting, and general daytime or low-light field use. Across the range, the design emphasis is simple: durable steel construction, a bright and easy-to-read sight picture, and practical compatibility with working firearms.

About the Hi VIZ LiteWave Interchangeable Sight, Glock Pistols

The Hi VIZ LiteWave Interchangeable Sight, Glock Pistols is a fiber-optic front sight made to improve front-sight visibility on Glock handguns while keeping the setup straightforward. Because it is a factory-height front sight compatible with the factory rear sight, it suits shooters who want a clearer aiming reference without replacing the entire sight system. That makes it a practical upgrade for range pistols, training guns, and everyday-use Glock platforms.

The sight’s main advantage is its interchangeable LitePipe system. Instead of being limited to one front-dot color, the shooter can swap inserts to better match bright sun, overcast light, darker targets, or personal preference. The green, red, and white LitePipe options also help tailor the sight picture for different uses, whether the goal is fast visual pickup in action shooting or a cleaner front reference for deliberate practice.

The LiteWave exoskeleton supports that visibility by exposing more fiber surface to ambient light while protecting the insert from routine bumps. Combined with all-steel construction, the result is a fixed sight that is durable enough for repeated holstering and regular use. With its fixed design and bright front reference, this handgun sight favors speed, consistency, and a simple sight picture over adjustment complexity.

About HiViz

HIVIZ began in 1996 with a single shooting-related product and grew into a specialist maker of sights and accessories for handguns, shotguns, and rifles. The company is based in Laramie, Wyoming, United States, and its catalog covers fiber-optic sights, tritium sights, recoil pads, and related shooting accessories. That focus on visible, practical sighting systems is central to the brand’s identity.

Within its sight range, HIVIZ is known for product lines such as TriViz and CompSight, as well as its removable LitePipes, which allow users to replace or reuse fiber-optic elements instead of treating them as fixed components. The company also developed the LiteWave design, which combines a protective exoskeleton with an integral LitePipe locking system. For handgun sights like this Glock model, that background matters because HIVIZ has built its reputation around making iron sights easier to see, easier to configure, and durable enough for regular field and range use.
