ABOUT THE GUIDE TU SERIES

The TU series is Guide's line of thermal imaging riflescopes, spanning lightweight, single-channel thermal models through to dual-spectrum configurations with integrated rangefinding. The series is aimed at hunters, law enforcement, and other professional users who need a weapon-mounted optic for night hunting, search and rescue, or security work, and covers a range of sensor resolutions, lens sizes, and channel configurations to suit different calibers, shooting distances, and lighting conditions.

Within the series, the TU Muo models add a second, digital day/night optical channel alongside the thermal channel, letting the user switch between thermal detection and a conventional optical or low-light image in the same scope. Across the TU Pro 3.0 and TU Muo 3.0 generations, Guide uses a common ApexVision S1 imaging platform, combining the ApexCore S1 detector, Nexus 1.0 processing platform, and Hyper-Light 2.0 algorithm for AI-enhanced image quality, together with a 3.0 shutterless architecture that keeps the thermal image stream uninterrupted during use. Scopes in the series use a QHD AMOLED display, a centrally positioned focus wheel and zoom lever for one-handed operation, IP68-rated housings tested for shock resistance, and dual-band Wi-Fi for connection to a companion app, with a built-in laser rangefinder available on select models.

ABOUT THE MODEL (GUIDE TU650MS)

The Guide TU650MS is a dual-spectrum riflescope from the TU Muo 3.0 line, combining a 640×512 uncooled VOx thermal detector behind a 50mm F0.9 lens with a separate 1920×1080 CMOS digital channel behind a 35mm F4.0 lens, so the user can work from either the thermal image or a conventional digital day/night view depending on the situation. The thermal channel provides a 3.7x-29.6x magnification range, an 8.8° x 7.0° field of view (15m x 12m at 100m), and a detection range of up to 2600m, while the digital channel offers 5.1x-81.6x magnification with a narrower 6.4° x 5.1° field of view (11m x 9m at 100m) and a detection range of up to 330m for daylight or moonlit conditions.

Both channels share a 1.03-inch AMOLED display at 2560×2560 resolution. The thermal side offers seven color palettes (White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Green Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot, Sepia), while the digital channel provides Day, Night, and Low-light modes, and the scope ships with an IR illuminator and mounting bracket to support the digital channel in the dark. The eyepiece offers 60mm of eye relief, a -5 to +5 diopter range, and 7.8x eyepiece zoom, and mounts to a standard 30mm tube diameter ring set.

A built-in laser rangefinder provides distance readings up to 1500m in either channel. The scope records photo and video with audio through a built-in microphone, stores footage on 256GB of internal memory, and connects over 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to a companion app for remote control and file transfer. Power comes from two built-in 18650 batteries plus one external 18650 battery, rated for approximately 12 hours of operation, with hot-swappable batteries allowing a spent battery to be replaced without powering down the scope. The housing is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, tested to 6000J of shock, and operates across a -20°C to 50°C temperature range.
