ABOUT THE TB SERIES

The TB 2.0 Series is Guide's line of thermal clip-on attachments, designed to be mounted in front of an existing daylight riflescope to add thermal imaging capability without replacing the optic. The series is built around Guide's ApexVision S1 system architecture, combining the ApexCore S1 detector, Platform Nexus 1.0, and the AI-powered Hyper-Light image enhancement algorithm to deliver clarity and reduced noise in low-light and long-range conditions.

Models within the TB Series vary by sensor resolution (640×512 or 1280×1024, both at 12 μm pixel pitch) and objective lens configuration, with select models, including the TB1260LS, integrating a laser rangefinder directly into the lens housing for precision ranging without added bulk. All models share a G-Zero shutterless operating design, which removes shutter freezing at startup and reduces shutter calibration noise for silent, uninterrupted operation.

TB Series clip-ons are built for hunting use, offering high recoil resistance (6000 J), a lightweight, palm-sized housing, and a standard replaceable 18650 battery for extended field sessions. A distinguishing feature of the TB1260LS is its laser rangefinder, integrated directly into the objective lens rather than added as a separate module. This design minimizes parallax error and keeps the overall device compact, providing distance readings up to 1200 m / 1300 yd for precision shot placement and ballistic calculations at varying distances. The device also features G-Zero shutterless operation, eliminating the image freeze typically caused by shutter calibration at startup, and a housing rated for 6000 J of recoil resistance, supporting stable imaging under repeated firing with heavier calibers.

Images are shown on a 0.5" AMOLED display with 1600×1200 resolution, with seven selectable color palettes (White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Green Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot, and Sepia) and a 20 mm eye relief. Photo and video capture with synchronized audio is supported, backed by 64 GB of internal storage, with the option to overlay a virtual reticle on recorded footage for realistic playback and review. Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz/5 GHz) connects the device to the TargetIR app, while a built-in microphone and Bluetooth support additional connectivity.
