Garmin Xero C2 Chronograph

• Compact radar chronograph: The Xero C2 measures projectile velocity without a large bench setup, making it easier to use at the range and simpler to position for different rifles, pistols or airguns.
• Portable, self-contained design: With a weight of 178.00 g and compact overall dimensions, it is easy to pack in a range bag and quick to deploy when testing loads or checking factory ammunition.
• Shot data connectivity: Bluetooth pairing with the ShotView app helps move velocity data off the device and into a phone workflow, which is useful for tracking sessions and comparing ammunition performance over time.
• Watch and ballistics integration: Compatibility with selected Garmin watches and the Applied Ballistics ecosystem helps streamline the step from measured muzzle velocity to practical ballistic use in the field.
• Tripod-ready construction: The built-in 1/4 in.-20 mount works with common tripods, giving the chronograph a stable platform and flexible placement on crowded shooting benches.

About the Xero Series

Garmin Xero is the company’s shooting-focused product family, built around practical electronics that help shooters gather useful data in the field and at the range. Within Garmin’s broader outdoor lineup, the Xero series sits as a specialist range of devices for archery and firearms users who want more than a conventional optical accessory can provide. The emphasis is on compact form, straightforward controls and digital features that support real shooting tasks rather than adding unnecessary complexity.

In the chronograph segment, the series is defined by radar-based measurement, portable construction and integration with Garmin’s connected ecosystem. That approach suits reloaders, precision shooters and hunters who need dependable velocity information for load development, ballistic validation and ammunition comparison. Instead of relying on bulky light-screen chronograph layouts, the Xero concept focuses on a cleaner setup that is easier to transport and faster to use on a typical firing line. The result is a family that fits naturally into modern shooting routines, especially for users who already rely on digital ballistic tools and want velocity data captured in a more convenient format.

About the Garmin Xero C2 Chronograph

The Garmin Xero C2 Chronograph is a compact electronic chronograph built for shooters who want reliable velocity data in a format that is easy to carry and quick to set up. Its small footprint and 178.00 g weight make it well suited to range bags where space is limited, while the tripod-compatible base helps position the unit securely for repeatable readings. For load development, that means less time managing equipment and more time collecting usable data.

The Xero C2 uses a radar chronograph format, which is especially practical for shooters who want a cleaner bench setup than traditional chronograph systems. It is suitable for checking muzzle velocity, comparing ammunition lots and refining ballistic inputs for precision shooting. Garmin also includes features that support downrange use, giving the device broader value than a simple one-task meter.

Connectivity is a major part of this model’s appeal. Bluetooth pairing with the ShotView app allows shot data to move into a phone-based workflow for later review, while pairing with a compatible Garmin watch adds convenient session control and data access away from the bench. The ability to import recorded muzzle velocities into the Applied Ballistics ecosystem is particularly useful for shooters building more accurate ballistic profiles. In practice, the Xero C2 works well for reloaders, long-range shooters and anyone who wants measured velocity data in a portable, modern format.

About Garmin

Garmin was co-founded in 1989 by Gary Burrell and Dr. Min Kao in Lenexa, Kansas. From the beginning, the company focused on navigation, communication and information devices, with GPS technology becoming a defining part of its product development. The Garmin name itself combines the founders’ first names, reflecting the company’s origins.

Today, Garmin Ltd. is incorporated in Switzerland, while its global headquarters are in Olathe, Kansas, United States. Garmin works across several specialist segments, including fitness, outdoor, aviation, marine and automotive OEM products. That broad electronics background is relevant to the Xero line, where the company applies its experience in sensors, portable device design and field-ready user interfaces to shooting equipment.
