EGW Winchester 1300, SXP Picatinny Rail Product description

  • One-piece Picatinny platform: Gives the Winchester 1300 and Winchester SXP a stable, full-length mounting surface for scopes, red dots, and other Picatinny-compatible optics, with more freedom to position the optic for proper eye relief.
  • 6061-T6 aluminum construction: Keeps the rail light while providing the rigidity needed for repeatable optic alignment on a hard-used pump shotgun.
  • Ambidextrous beveled profile: The bevel on both sides creates a clean, snag-resistant shape that suits right- and left-handed setups equally well.
  • 15-slot layout: The full run of cross slots makes it easier to fine-tune ring spacing and optic placement, especially when switching between compact red dots and larger hunting optics.
  • 0 MOA configuration: Suits practical shotgun distances well, keeping the optic centered for straightforward zeroing with slug guns, turkey setups, and general field use.

About the EGW Picatinny Rails Series

EGW Picatinny Rails are built around a simple idea: provide a one-piece optic-mounting platform that matches the receiver correctly and gives the shooter more flexibility than two-piece bases. Within EGW’s catalog, this series covers a wide range of firearm applications and is aimed at shooters who want a practical, precisely machined foundation for hunting optics, red dots, and general-purpose sighting setups.

A defining feature of the series is its use of 6061-T6 aluminum, which keeps weight under control while maintaining the stiffness needed for secure optic mounting. The family is also known for its center valley design, a lengthwise channel that reduces unnecessary mass and, on many firearms, helps preserve access around factory sight lines. Depending on the application, rails in the series are offered in different elevation options, including 0 MOA, making the lineup suitable for everything from straightforward field zeroes to more specialized long-range setups. Across the range, the emphasis stays on clean machining, correct hole spacing, and a practical Picatinny interface that works with a broad selection of rings and accessories.

About the EGW Winchester 1300, SXP Picatinny Rail

The EGW Winchester 1300, SXP Picatinny Rail is designed for shooters who want to add modern optics to the Winchester Model 1300 or Winchester SXP without adding unnecessary bulk. As a one-piece rail, it creates a continuous mounting surface that is especially useful on pump shotguns, where optic position can make a noticeable difference in head position, eye relief, and overall handling. Whether the goal is a compact red dot for fast target acquisition or a magnified optic for slug or turkey use, the long slot pattern gives more room to place the sight where it works best.

The rail is machined from aluminum and finished in matte black, giving it a low-profile appearance that fits well with practical field and defensive shotgun setups. Its 0 MOA inclination keeps the optic aligned for the distances at which these shotguns are most commonly used, avoiding the extra cant intended for specialized long-range applications. The ambidextrous beveled shape helps the mount sit cleanly on the receiver and reduces sharp edges that can catch during handling. With a 15-slot Picatinny layout, 4 mounting holes, and 6-48 thread pattern, this rail is built as a dedicated fitment rather than a generic adapter, which matters for maintaining secure attachment and consistent zero under repeated recoil.

About EGW

Evolution Gun Works was founded by George Smith in 1991 and began as a gunsmithing shop in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. The company is now based in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, United States, where it designs and manufactures firearm parts and accessories. EGW is particularly well known for scope mounts, scope rings, and other optic-mounting solutions, making it a familiar name to shooters building reliable hunting, competition, and general-purpose rifle or shotgun setups.

Beyond mounts, the company’s catalog also includes 1911 parts, AR and rifle components, red dot mounts, and thread protectors. That broad machining background is relevant here because it reflects EGW’s focus on fit-specific parts rather than generic hardware. In the optics category, the brand has built its reputation on practical designs, precise machining, and American manufacturing, with products intended to give the shooter a stable interface between firearm and sighting system.

Hi there, I am looking for a top mounted weaver or picatinny mount for my Winchester SXP and a barrel/forearm pump light picatinny/weaver mount. Do you have anything in stock ready to ship to the UK? Regards,

by Lee

This Picatinny rail fits Winchester 1300 and SXP rifles. It also fits the FN SLP, however, the holes must be drilled for the different thread diameter. Unfortunately, we don't have any rail in stock at this moment.
