Dörr LED Camping Light CL-1285

• Camping and emergency use: The Dörr LED Camping Light CL-1285 works as both a lantern for campsites and a backup light for power cuts, giving broad area illumination instead of the narrow beam of a handheld torch.
• Pull-up switching design: The lamp turns on by pulling the head upward, so operation stays simple and intuitive when light is needed quickly in a tent, vehicle, or emergency kit.
• 6 x 1W LED output: Its LED array is designed to spread light evenly and reduce glare, which is more practical for reading, cooking, or moving around a small camp area.
• Hanging metal brackets: Integrated metal brackets let the lantern be suspended above a table or inside a shelter, helping place the light where it covers the space most effectively.
• Portable battery-powered format: With a compact lantern body and 3x AA battery power, the light stays easy to carry and useful where charging is not available.

About the Dorr Flashlights Series

Dorr Flashlights sit within DÖRR’s broader lighting range and cover both general-purpose outdoor lighting and more specialized field use. The series includes practical zoom torches for home, workshop, vehicle, camping, and outdoor tasks, alongside hunting-oriented models developed for uses such as tracking game or observing wild boar. That mix gives the range a clear identity: straightforward portable lights built around real use cases rather than decorative design.

Across the series, DÖRR focuses on simple operation, dependable LED light sources, and formats suited to different jobs. Some models use an adjustable beam by moving the lamp head forward or backward, while others prioritize area lighting for camp or emergency use. The range also includes multi-colour concepts such as white, red, and green light for users who need more control over visibility and night adaptation. In practical terms, the Dorr Flashlights family is aimed at users who want functional lighting for camping, outdoor use, household backup, and hunting-related tasks, with an emphasis on portability and uncomplicated handling.

About the Dörr LED Camping Light CL-1285

The Dörr LED Camping Light CL-1285 is built as a compact camping lantern for users who need broad, close-range illumination rather than a focused beam. Its 6 x 1W LEDs and maximum output of approx. 90 lumens are suited to lighting a tent, table, shelter, or small room during a blackout. This makes it more practical for shared spaces and hands-free tasks than a conventional flashlight that concentrates light in one direction.

The lantern’s pull-up construction is one of its most useful features in everyday use. Raising the lamp head switches the light on, while pushing it back down switches it off, so operation stays fast and easy even in the dark. The extendable format also helps protect the light when packed away. For placement, the integrated metal hanging brackets allow the lantern to be suspended overhead, improving light distribution inside a tent or under a canopy.

For field use, the CL-1285 combines a portable size with straightforward battery power. It runs on 3x AA LR06 1.5V batteries, which are easy to replace and widely available, making the lantern a sensible choice for travel, vehicle storage, and emergency preparedness. The housing is made from plastic to keep weight low, and the IP43 protection level adds resistance to splashing water and dust in typical outdoor conditions. With an operating time of approx. 12 h on fresh batteries, it is designed for extended evening use at camp or dependable standby lighting at home.

About Dorr
