DD Optics V6 5-30x56 FFP

• 5-30x magnification range: This wide zoom span lets the scope move from deliberate mid-range work to precise long-range shot placement without changing optics, making it well suited to hunting optics and precision shooting roles.
• First focal plane reticle: The FFP layout keeps reticle subtensions consistent at every magnification, so holdovers and corrections remain usable whether the shooter is scanning at lower power or dialing up for distance.
• Tactical multi-turn turrets with Zero Stop: The exposed turret system is built for repeatable dialing, while the Zero Stop gives a fast, reliable return to the base setting after elevation changes in the field.
• 56 mm objective with fully multicoated lenses: The large objective and coatings help maintain image brightness and contrast at higher magnification, which is especially useful when targets are small or light conditions are less than ideal.
• 34 mm tube and 30 mrad adjustment range: The larger tube supports a generous internal adjustment range, giving more freedom for long-range zeroing and ballistic correction with modern rifle setups.

About the DD Optics V6 Series

The DD Optics V6 series sits in the brand’s premium variable-power riflescope range and is aimed at shooters who need one optic to cover demanding field use and deliberate distance work. In the DD Optics lineup, the series is known for combining a 6x zoom ratio with practical mechanical features such as tactical turret layouts, side parallax adjustment, and robust main tubes suited to modern precision rifles. These scopes are built for applications where reliable tracking, usable reticle subtensions, and clear target definition matter more than unnecessary complexity.

Across the series, the design philosophy centers on versatility. Models in the V6 family are intended for hunting optics use, range shooting, and long-range or tactical optics applications where magnification flexibility is important. Depending on configuration, the series emphasizes first focal plane reticles, illuminated aiming points, and repeatable elevation systems that support dialing or holdover-based shooting styles. Optical characteristics such as fully multicoated lenses, broad magnification ranges, and practical eye relief are paired with weather-resistant construction, nitrogen filling, and durable housings so the scopes remain functional in changing outdoor conditions.

About the DD Optics V6 5-30x56 FFP

The DD Optics V6 5-30x56 FFP is configured for shooters who want strong long-range capability without giving up flexibility at more moderate distances. Its 5-30x magnification range gives enough low-end power for target acquisition and observation, while the upper end provides the image scale needed for precise shot placement, spotting impacts, and reading fine target detail. Paired with a 56 mm objective lens, the scope is designed to preserve usable brightness as magnification increases, which matters when shooting in poor light or when target contrast is limited.

The first focal plane reticle is a practical choice for precision shooting because the reticle scale stays true throughout the zoom range. That allows consistent holdovers and ranging references without having to stay at one fixed magnification. The red illumination supports clearer reticle visibility against dark backgrounds, while the side parallax adjustment from 25 m to infinity helps keep the target and reticle on the same focal plane for more precise aiming at varying distances.

Mechanically, this riflescope is set up for dialing. The 34 mm tube and 30 mrad elevation and windage range give useful adjustment latitude for extended-range setups. Its tactical multi-turn turrets and Zero Stop are intended for repeatable corrections and a confident return to zero after elevation changes. With 85-97 mm eye relief, nitrogen filling, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction, the scope is built for hard field use as well as structured range work.

About DD Optics

DD Optics traces its origins to 2007 in Dresden, Germany. The company is a German family-owned optics specialist and has been headquartered in Chemnitz since 2012. Its product range covers binoculars, spotting scopes, rifle scopes, and night-vision devices, with a clear focus on practical optical instruments for hunting, nature observation, birdwatching, and outdoor use.

Within this field, DD Optics is known for developing products in Germany and concentrating on features that matter in real use, from optical clarity to durable mechanical construction. The company states that its binoculars and rifle scopes are mainly developed in Germany and mainly produced in Japan, reflecting a mix of German product planning and established optical manufacturing. That background is especially relevant in riflescopes such as the V6 series, where repeatable mechanics, useful reticle design, and dependable field durability are central to the product concept.
