Crimson Trace LG-430 Laserguard

• Trigger-guard mounting design: The LG-430 fits neatly around the trigger guard of compatible Kel-Tec pistols, keeping the profile slim and preserving the handgun’s natural handling for concealed carry and close-range defensive use.
• Instinctive Activation: A front pressure switch turns the laser on as the pistol is gripped in a normal firing hold, so the aiming point appears without changing grip or adding extra steps under stress.
• Fully adjustable zero: Windage and elevation adjustment lets the laser be aligned to the pistol and ammunition in use, which is important for maintaining a precise point of aim at practical defensive distances.
• 5 mW red laser: The red aiming beam provides a clear visual reference for rapid target acquisition, especially when shooting from unconventional positions where iron-sight alignment is slower.
• Compact lightweight construction: With a low carry weight and a streamlined housing, the unit adds aiming capability without making a small defensive pistol noticeably bulkier or harder to carry.

About the Laserguard Series

Crimson Trace Laserguard sights are designed as trigger-guard-mounted handgun lasers for shooters who want a compact aiming aid without changing the basic shape of the pistol more than necessary. In the Crimson Trace lineup, the series sits as a practical option for concealed-carry handguns and defensive pistols where low bulk, fast activation and model-specific fit matter more than large external controls or oversized housings.

A defining feature of the series is Instinctive Activation, which places the switch where it can be engaged through a normal firing grip. That design keeps operation simple in close-range defensive use, because the laser comes on as the pistol is presented rather than requiring a separate search for a button. Laserguard models also use a streamlined housing that follows the contours of the trigger guard, helping the pistol remain easy to holster and comfortable to carry. Across the family, the emphasis is on fast target indexing, user-adjustable windage and elevation, and a fit tailored to specific handgun platforms rather than a one-size-fits-all mounting approach.

About the Crimson Trace LG-430 Laserguard

The Crimson Trace LG-430 Laserguard is a compact red handgun laser sight built specifically for Kel-Tec P3AT and P32 pistols. Its role is straightforward: add a visible aiming reference to very small defensive handguns without compromising the slim, easy-to-carry format that makes these pistols popular in the first place. Because the laser mounts directly to the trigger guard and places the emitter under the muzzle, the unit stays close to the frame and avoids the bulky feel that can come with larger accessory solutions.

The front activation layout is especially important on a pistol of this size. Instinctive Activation allows the laser to engage from a natural firing grip, which supports faster target acquisition at short range and helps when shooting from retention, awkward angles or low-light positions where traditional sight alignment is slower. The adjustable windage and elevation system lets the shooter zero the laser to the pistol and chosen load, while the 0.50 MOA dot size supports a precise aiming reference rather than an oversized splash of light.

In practical use, the LG-430 balances speed and simplicity. The 5.00 mW Class 3R red laser provides a clear point of aim, and the integrated on/off switch gives direct control when needed. Its compact form and low weight make it well suited to discreet carry pistols, where any added accessory must justify its space with a real handling benefit.

About Crimson Trace

Crimson Trace was established in 1994 and focuses on firearm-mounted aiming and illumination equipment. The company is especially known for laser sights and firearm-mounted lights, with product families that include Lasergrips, Laserguard and Rail Master. A key part of its design identity is Instinctive Activation, which uses pressure-pad placement intended to work with a normal shooting grip rather than requiring a separate, deliberate switch movement.

Beyond laser products, Crimson Trace also makes riflescopes and rangefinders, showing a broader presence in shooting optics while remaining closely associated with defensive firearm accessories. The company operates a facility in Columbia, Missouri, United States, and its product range reflects a practical focus on fast sighting systems for handguns and other firearms.
