Crimson Trace LG-420 Laserguard

• Instinctive Activation: The front activation pad places the laser where it can be engaged as part of a normal firing grip, so the sight comes on quickly without adding extra steps to the draw or presentation.
• Adjustable windage and elevation: User adjustment lets the laser be matched to the pistol and ammunition setup, helping maintain a practical point of aim at typical defensive handgun distances.
• Retractable design: The retractable Laserguard format keeps the unit compact around the trigger guard area, preserving handling while adding an aiming reference for low-light or unconventional shooting positions.
• Fine 0.50 MOA dot: A small aiming point supports more precise placement than a larger dot, which is useful when confirming alignment on smaller targets or refining zero.
• Aluminium construction: The metal housing adds durability for everyday carry and repeated handling, while keeping the laser unit suited to hard use on compatible pistols.

About the Laserguard Series

Crimson Trace Laserguard handgun laser sights are built as compact, firearm-specific aiming units that mount close to the frame and are shaped to work naturally with defensive and duty-style pistols. Within the company’s laser-sight lineup, the Laserguard series sits as a streamlined option for shooters who want a dedicated trigger-guard-mounted laser without changing the basic feel of the handgun more than necessary. A defining feature across the family is Instinctive Activation, which places the control where it can be engaged during a normal firing grip rather than through a separate remote switch or a complicated control sequence.

The series is aimed at users who want a practical sighting aid for concealed carry, home defense, and general handgun use. Laserguard models are typically designed for model-specific fit, straightforward installation, and external windage and elevation adjustment so the unit can be tuned to the pistol. The format also suits shooters who may need a visible aiming reference in low light, from retention positions, or when sight alignment is slower than usual. Across the range, the emphasis is on compact integration, simple activation, and a laser unit that supports fast target indexing without adding unnecessary bulk.

About the Crimson Trace LG-420 Laserguard

The Crimson Trace LG-420 Laserguard is a red handgun laser sight designed for Sig Sauer P320, M17, and M18 pistols, giving these service-size and compact platforms a fast visual aiming reference without moving to a larger rail-mounted unit. Its front activation system is intended for immediate use from a normal shooting grip, which makes the laser practical for defensive carry, low-light use, and close-range target acquisition where speed matters as much as precision. Because the unit is user-adjustable for windage and elevation, it can be aligned to the pistol and preferred load rather than relying on a fixed factory setting alone.

The laser projects a 0.50 MOA dot, which keeps the aiming point fine enough for deliberate placement while still remaining easy to pick up at handgun distances. With 633.00 nm beam intensity and 5.00 mW output in Class 3R, the LG-420 follows the familiar visible red-laser format that many shooters prefer for its straightforward operation and compatibility with compact carry setups. The retractable design helps the unit stay tidy around the pistol’s profile, reducing interference with handling while preserving the quick-reference benefit of a frame-mounted laser.

Its aluminium housing adds durability for regular carry and range use, and the dedicated Laserguard form keeps the sight integrated rather than feeling like a general-purpose accessory. For shooters using the P320 family as a defensive, training, or duty handgun, the LG-420 provides a simple aiming aid that complements iron sights instead of replacing them.

The company makes firearm laser sights and firearm-mounted lights, with product families that include Lasergrips, Laserguard, and Rail Master.
