Blaser B2 2.5-15x56 iC QDC+ Product description

  • 2.5-15x magnification range: This zoom span covers a wide spread of hunting situations, from closer woodland shots to deliberate placement at longer distances, without forcing a change of optic.
  • 56 mm objective lens: The large front lens supports a bright sight picture in poor light, which is especially useful when game movement peaks at dusk and dawn.
  • QDC+ with zero stop and locking turret: The elevation system is built for repeatable holdover correction while helping prevent accidental movement during transport or field carry.
  • Second focal plane illuminated reticle: The reticle stays visually fine at higher magnification for precise aiming, while illumination helps the aiming point remain easy to pick up against dark backgrounds.
  • Side parallax adjustment from 50 m to ∞: Fine focus at varying distances reduces aiming error and keeps the target image sharper when shooting across open ground.

About the Blaser B2 Series

Blaser B2 riflescopes sit alongside the company’s B1 line as a more compact, sturdy family of hunting optics built around a 6× zoom system. The series is intended for hunters who need one scope to cover varied field use, from daylight stalking to twilight observation and, where legal, use with clip-on devices for night hunting. That broad role explains the B2 concept: practical magnification ranges, robust construction, and dimensions that work well on modern hunting rifles without making the setup unnecessarily bulky.

Across the series, Blaser uses an illuminated 4a reticle in the second focal plane, giving the shooter a familiar hunting reticle layout with a constant apparent size through the zoom range. The illumination system is designed for both daylight and nighttime use, and models with iC illumination control can interact with compatible Blaser R8 or K95 rifles fitted with an iC cocking slide. In practice, the B2 family is aimed at hunters who want a universal riflescope with dependable low-light performance, straightforward handling, and compatibility with contemporary hunting setups rather than a specialist optic limited to one narrow task.

About the Blaser B2 2.5-15x56 iC QDC+

The Blaser B2 2.5-15x56 iC QDC+ is the low-light oriented model in the B2 hunting riflescope range, combining a versatile 2.5-15x magnification range with a large 56 mm objective lens. That combination suits hunters who move between woodland edges, fields, and raised stands, where one outing may demand a broad overview at lower power and the next shot may call for more precise target evaluation at distance. The large objective and quoted 94 / 92% light transmission support a bright image when legal shooting time stretches into difficult dawn or dusk conditions.

This model uses an illuminated SFP reticle, so the reticle appearance remains constant as magnification changes. For practical hunting use, that means the aiming point stays fine enough for careful placement at higher power while remaining familiar at lower settings. The iC function also fits naturally into a Blaser hunting setup, allowing automatic illumination activation with compatible rifles. Because this version includes QDC+, it adds a more capable elevation solution for hunters who want to dial corrections rather than rely only on holdover. The capped turret layout, locking function, and zero stop help keep settings secure in the field while still allowing deliberate adjustment when distance increases.

The scope is also configured for precise image setup at varying ranges. Side parallax adjustment from 50 m to ∞ helps sharpen the target image and reduce parallax error, which becomes more important as magnification rises. A 90.00 mm eye relief supports stable shooting positions on centrefire rifles, while the 30 mm tube, nitrogen filling, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction underline its role as a durable hunting optic for regular field use.

About Blaser

Blaser was founded by Horst Blaser in Isny, Germany, in 1957. The company built its reputation in hunting firearms, producing rifles, combination guns, shotguns, and related hunting accessories. Within that broader hunting focus, Blaser also developed a sport-optics range that includes riflescopes and binoculars, designed to integrate with the needs of practical field hunting rather than stand apart as isolated accessories.

A defining part of the brand’s approach is system compatibility. The Original Blaser Saddle Mount was developed for quick, tool-free removal and replacement of a riflescope, reflecting the company’s emphasis on repeatable mounting and flexible rifle setups. In 2000, Michael Lüke and Thomas Ortmeier acquired Blaser together with MAUSER and J.P. SAUER & SOHN. Today, the brand forms part of the Blaser Group, headquartered in Isny im Allgäu, Germany, and remains closely associated with premium hunting equipment and integrated rifle-and-optic solutions.

Most common questions (Q&A)

Need help? Not sure about something? Don't hesitate - ask our community! Our experienced community is here to help you with this question.

Hi guys, For low light deer stalking I'm interested in the 56mm objective. However, our woodland is very dense, sometimes animals appear just 25m away. So, the low magnification of the 42mm is also attractive. What should I prioritise...?

by Charlie

Dear Charlie,

thank you for your message.

The 56 mm objective lens allows more light to enter than the 42 mm lens, but the riflescope is bigger and heavier.

Thank you for your understanding and please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected] if we can assist you in any other way.

Kind regards
