Blaser B2 1.7-10x42 iC

• Universal 6x zoom range: The 1.7-10x magnification span gives this riflescope the flexibility to move from fast, close-range shooting to more deliberate shots at distance without changing optics.
• Wide field of view at low power: With up to 24.00 m/100m at 1.7x, the scope helps maintain awareness of moving game and makes target acquisition quicker in driven hunts and stalking situations.
• 42 mm objective with strong transmission: The combination of a 42.00 mm objective lens and 94% / 92% (day / night) light transmission supports a bright image for use from daylight into twilight.
• Illuminated SFP reticle with iC function: The red illuminated reticle in the second focal plane stays visually consistent across the zoom range, while the iC system suits rapid hunting use on compatible Blaser rifles.
• Compact, field-ready construction: A 315.00 mm length, 30 mm tube, nitrogen filling, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof build make the scope easier to carry and dependable in changing weather.

About the Blaser B2 Series

The Blaser B2 series sits alongside the B1 line in Blaser’s riflescope range and is built as a compact 6x hunting scope family for varied hunting use. The series is intended to cover a broad spread of real field conditions, from daylight stalking to twilight waiting and night hunting with clip-on device compatibility. That makes the B2 line especially relevant for hunters who want one optic that can stay useful across several rifles and hunting styles.

A defining feature of the series is its illuminated 4a reticle in the second focal plane, paired with brightness adjustment suitable for both daytime and nighttime use. On compatible Blaser R8 or K95 rifles fitted with an iC cocking slide, the iC illumination function can activate automatically, which simplifies handling when speed matters. Across the range, Blaser positions the B2 models as sturdy, universal riflescopes with practical proportions, straightforward controls, and optical performance tailored to hunting rather than target-style complexity.

About the Blaser B2 1.7-10x42 iC

The Blaser B2 1.7-10x42 iC is the compact all-round model in the series, built for hunters who need one riflescope to cover driven hunts, stalking, and waiting from daylight into low light. Its 1.7-10x magnification range gives it a notably broad working envelope: the low end supports fast target pickup at short to medium distances, while the upper end provides enough image scale for more precise shot placement when the terrain opens up. Combined with a 24.00 m/100m field of view at low power, it remains especially useful where game may appear suddenly or move quickly across the line of sight.

The 42.00 mm objective lens and high stated transmission figures help the scope stay practical beyond full daylight, while the 90.00 mm eye relief supports comfortable, secure shooting positions on hunting rifles. The illuminated red reticle is placed in the second focal plane, so its apparent size remains constant as magnification changes; in practice, that keeps the aiming point familiar and easy to read throughout the zoom range. The capped turrets suit a hunting optic that is meant to be carried through brush and over distance without accidental adjustment, while the single-turn adjustment layout keeps zeroing straightforward.

Mechanically, this model is built around a 30 mm tube and a very compact 315.00 mm overall length, which helps preserve rifle balance and leaves room for clip-on use. Nitrogen filling, fully multicoated lenses, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction make it a practical choice for demanding hunting conditions where weather, temperature changes, and rough transport are part of normal use.

About Blaser

Blaser was founded by Horst Blaser in Isny, Germany, in 1957. The company is part of the Blaser Group and is known primarily for hunting and outdoor equipment, including hunting rifles, combination guns, shotguns, and accessories. Within sport optics, Blaser offers riflescopes and binoculars designed to complement its hunting firearms and mounting systems.

A notable part of the brand’s identity is the Original Blaser Saddle Mount, developed for quick, tool-free removal and replacement of a riflescope while preserving practical usability in the field. In 2000, Michael Lüke and Thomas Ortmeier acquired Blaser together with the MAUSER and J.P. SAUER & SOHN brands. Today, the Blaser Group is headquartered in Isny im Allgäu, Germany, and Blaser remains closely associated with premium hunting equipment built around integrated rifle-and-optic use.
