Vanguard QS-74 Arca-Compatible Quick Shoe with Anti-Slip Rubber

• Arca-Compatible Design: The QS-74 locks into any Arca-compatible head from Vanguard or other brands, giving a quick, secure connection between your optic or camera and the tripod.
• Anti-Slip Rubber Strips: Four diagonal rubber strips grip the underside of the device and prevent it from twisting on the plate, keeping your setup steady during observation or photography.
• Four-Sided Clamping: All four sides of the plate fit into the head clamp, so the plate can be mounted at 90° angles, which is useful for portrait-orientation shots on a two-way pan head.
• Tool-Free Tightening: The 1/4" screw can be tightened by hand with the D-ring, or with an Allen key, coin or screwdriver when a firmer hold is needed.

ABOUT THE MODEL (VANGUARD QS-74 ARCA-COMPATIBLE QUICK SHOE)

The Vanguard QS-74 Arca-Compatible Quick Shoe with Anti-Slip Rubber is a compact quick-release plate that attaches to a spotting scope or camera and connects it to an Arca-compatible tripod head in seconds. It is a practical accessory for hunters, birdwatchers and photographers who regularly move their equipment between a tripod and hand-held use.

The plate attaches to the device with a standard 1/4" screw. The integrated D-ring lets you tighten it by hand in the field, while an Allen key, coin or screwdriver can be used for a firmer connection. Four diagonal rubber strips on the top surface provide grip and help prevent the device from rotating on the plate.

Thanks to its square 43 × 43 mm top plate, all four sides fit the head clamp. This allows the plate to be mounted at 90° angles, so you can switch orientation without removing the plate from the device. Many users fit a separate QS-74 to each camera or optic, which allows equipment to be changed quickly without moving plates from one device to another.

The QS-74 is compatible with all Vanguard Arca-compatible heads and with Arca-compatible heads from other brands. It is also the plate supplied with several Vanguard products, including the VEO PH-36S and VEO PH-38S heads and various VEO 3 tripod kits, making it a useful spare or replacement. At around 43 g, it adds almost no weight to your equipment.
