UTG Compact 4-16x44

• Compact 4-16x44 format: This scope combines a useful mid-to-high magnification range with a shorter overall length, making it easier to fit on rimfire rifles, compact hunting setups, and target rifles where rail space and balance matter.
• Adjustable objective parallax: Parallax correction from 9.14 m to inf helps keep the target and reticle on the same focal plane, which is especially useful for rimfire distances, range work, and precise shot placement at changing ranges.
• Locking, resettable target turrets: The turret system is built for repeatable elevation and windage changes, while the locking function and zero reset make it easier to dial confidently and return to a known zero after adjustments.
• Illuminated Mil-Dot reticle: Red and green illumination improves reticle visibility against dark backgrounds or in mixed light, while the Mil-Dot layout gives a familiar aiming reference for holdover and basic ranging.
• True Strength nitrogen-filled construction: The sealed 30 mm tube is waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof, giving the scope the durability needed for regular field use and repeated recoil exposure.

About the UTG Accushot Series

UTG Accushot sits in the core of the brand’s riflescope lineup, aimed at shooters who want practical features for hunting optics, target shooting, and general-purpose rifle use without moving into the company’s premium tiers. A defining part of the series is the True Strength platform, a design Leapers began developing in 2001 and brought into mass production in 2002. In the current Accushot range, the family shares a 30 mm main tube, second focal plane reticles, and illuminated aiming systems with red, green, and 36-color modes across the listed models.

Within the series, magnification choices run from a 1-8x model up to 4-16x configurations, including compact and scout-style options for different rifle setups. Leapers positions Accushot scopes as durable, field-ready optics with coil erector return springs and a construction standard tested on both air rifles and firearms. In practical terms, that gives the series a reputation for combining versatile magnification ranges, familiar reticle layouts, and robust mechanical design in scopes suited to everything from close-to-mid-range use to more deliberate precision work.

About the UTG Compact 4-16x44

The UTG Compact 4-16x44 is built for shooters who want the reach of a 4-16x magnification range without the bulk of a full-length target scope. At 4x, it remains manageable for closer targets and general field use; at 16x, it gives enough image scale for careful shot placement on small targets, rimfire work, and bench shooting. The 44 mm objective lens supports a useful balance between light intake and overall size, while the compact body keeps the rifle from becoming front-heavy.

This model uses a second focal plane wire Mil-Dot reticle, so the reticle image stays visually consistent as magnification changes. That makes it easy to pick up and keeps the sight picture uncluttered at higher power. The illuminated reticle with red and green settings helps maintain contrast when the target blends into dark timber, shaded backstops, or low, flat light. For more precise shooting, the adjustable objective lets the user tune out parallax from 9.14 m to inf, which is particularly valuable on rimfire rifles and airgun-style distances where small aiming errors show up quickly.

Mechanically, the scope is configured with locking, zero-resettable target turrets and a Zero Stop function, giving it a more dial-friendly layout than a basic hunting optic. The 30 mm tube, nitrogen filling, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction support regular outdoor use, while the included Picatinny/Weaver rings suit modern rifle platforms that need a straightforward mounting solution.

About UTG

UTG is the optics and shooting accessories brand of Leapers, Inc., a company founded in Michigan in 1992 and headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, United States. The company began with a compact 4×28 scope as its first product and has since expanded into riflescopes, scope rings, mounts, bipods, and related equipment for hunting and shooting sports. That long focus on practical shooting accessories is reflected in the way UTG products are designed, with attention to mounting compatibility, mechanical durability, and field-oriented features.

Leapers added a UTG optics research and manufacturing center in Taiwan in 2018, strengthening its development capability in the optics category. The company also introduced the UTG PRO line in 2009 for U.S.-made products and later launched the INTEGRIX premium optics brand in 2022. Within the market, UTG is best known for offering accessible optics and accessories that emphasize function, broad firearm compatibility, and durable construction.
