Trijicon HD for Glock

• Tritium night sight system: The self-luminous three-dot layout stays visible in low light and darkness without batteries, helping maintain a clear sight picture for defensive or duty use.
• High-visibility front sight: The HD front sight is designed to draw the eye quickly, making faster front-sight acquisition easier in bright light, transitional light, and indoor conditions.
• U-shaped rear notch: The wide rear U-notch gives the front sight more visual separation, which helps speed alignment while keeping the sight picture less cluttered under stress.
• Fixed aluminum construction: A durable metal body resists hard use and recoil while keeping the sight set simple, rugged, and ready once installed and zeroed for the pistol.
• Hooked rear sight profile: The rear sight shape supports one-handed slide manipulation, adding practical utility for emergency handling and training scenarios.

About the Trijicon HD Series

Trijicon HD is a family of self-luminous pistol night sights developed for law enforcement and personal-protection shooters who need a sight picture that remains easy to read across changing light conditions. Introduced during 2012–2013 and still current in the Trijicon lineup, the series combines tritium illumination with a sight geometry aimed at faster visual pickup than conventional three-dot sets. A defining element is the front sight, which pairs a tritium lamp with a domed sapphire cap and a photoluminescent painted outline, helping the front blade stand out in daylight as well as in dim environments.

The rear sight follows a practical defensive design, using a serrated U-shaped notch to keep glare down and make the front sight easier to center quickly. Its front face is also shaped to aid one-handed slide manipulation. The series covers a wide range of pistol platforms, including Glock, CZ, Beretta, and SIG Sauer models, with fitment depending on the specific sight set. Depending on the model, HD sights are offered with orange or yellow front outlines, giving shooters a choice in how bold they want the front aiming reference to appear.

About the Trijicon HD for Glock

Trijicon HD for Glock is a fixed tritium night sight set built for shooters who want a defensive iron-sight setup that remains fast to read in daylight and dependable after dark. On a Glock pistol, the HD layout emphasizes rapid front-sight acquisition rather than a fine target-style picture. That makes it especially well suited to concealed carry, duty use, home defense, and training where speed, consistency, and visibility matter more than adjustment features.

The sight set uses a 3-dot alignment pattern with a U-shaped rear sight, a combination that helps the eye pick up the front blade quickly while keeping the rear reference easy to interpret under pressure. Because the sights are fixed, there are no moving parts to disturb the setup in regular carry or hard use. The aluminum construction keeps the set durable while remaining appropriate for a reciprocating pistol slide. As part of the HD family, this Glock configuration also benefits from the series’ defensive-minded rear profile, which supports one-handed slide operation when needed.

In practical use, the strength of this model is balance: it gives the shooter a clear low-light aiming reference from the tritium lamps, a bold sight picture for transitional lighting, and a robust metal housing suited to regular holster wear and recoil. For Glock owners who prefer iron sights over electronic pistol optics, Trijicon HD for Glock offers a straightforward upgrade focused on speed, visibility, and durability.

About Trijicon

Trijicon was founded in 1981 by Glyn Bindon and is based in Wixom, Michigan, United States. The company develops aiming systems for military, law enforcement, hunting, and shooting applications, with a product range that includes riflescopes, red dot sights, electro-optics, and iron sights. Its name, adopted in 1985, combines the words “tritium” and “icon,” reflecting the company’s long association with illuminated aiming systems.

Within this category, Trijicon is especially known for its work with tritium, fiber optic, and LED illumination technologies. The company introduced the ACOG riflescope in 1987 and later the RMR miniature reflex sight in 2009, both of which became important products in professional and civilian shooting markets. That background in durable illuminated sighting systems carries directly into its pistol iron sights, including the HD series.
