Trijicon Compact ACOG Mount

• Trijicon Q-LOC Technology: the one-handed, toolless quick-release system makes it easy to remove or reinstall a Compact ACOG without slowing down setup changes, while the spring-loaded design helps keep constant rail tension.
• Return-to-zero performance: the mount is built to maintain zero when removed and reattached correctly, which matters for users who swap optics between rifles or need fast field servicing without losing confidence in point of impact.
• 6061-T6 aluminum construction: this aluminum body keeps weight low while providing the strength needed for hard use, making it a practical choice for duty carbines, field rifles, and general shooting setups.
• Low-profile 0 MOA layout: the compact, non-canted design keeps the optic close to the rifle and preserves a straightforward sight picture, which suits the intended role of Compact ACOG optics on Picatinny-equipped platforms.
• Compact ACOG fit: designed specifically for Trijicon Compact ACOG models, this mount gives a purpose-built interface rather than a generic clamp solution, helping ensure proper alignment and secure attachment.

About the Trijicon Mounts Series

Trijicon Mounts sits within the company’s current Mounts & Accessories range and is built to support the same practical, hard-use role as Trijicon’s aiming systems. The series covers several mounting needs, from optics that attach to Picatinny rails to models intended for Weaver rails or more specific firearm platforms. That broad compatibility makes the line relevant to users running compact carbines, full-size rifles, red-dot setups, or magnified optics.

A defining trait of the series is its variety of mounting heights and formats. Trijicon offers configurations such as low, full co-witness, and lower one-third co-witness, along with quick-release options in selected models. Within the wider family, mounts are available for optics such as the MRO, RMR, and SRO, as well as larger rifle optics. The overall design approach is straightforward: secure attachment, repeatable positioning, and geometry matched to the optic’s intended use rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.

About the Trijicon Compact ACOG Mount

The Trijicon Compact ACOG Mount is a fixed mount developed specifically for Compact ACOG riflescopes and for rifles that use a Picatinny rail interface. Its main advantage is the integration of Trijicon Q-LOC technology, which gives the mount a one-handed, toolless quick-release system. In practice, that means the optic can be installed or removed quickly for transport, maintenance, or configuration changes without turning the mount into a slow, tool-dependent part of the rifle setup.

The spring-loaded retention system is important here because it is designed to keep constant tension on the rail and support repeatable return to zero. For shooters using a Compact ACOG on more than one compatible platform, or for rifles that may need optics removed and reattached in the field, that repeatability is more valuable than simple convenience alone. The 0 MOA and 0 MOA inclination layout also keeps the mount neutral and uncomplicated, which suits the intended role of a compact fixed-power optic.

Construction is equally practical. The mount uses 6061-T6 aluminum with a matte black anodized finish, balancing low weight with the durability expected from a hard-use optic mount. Trijicon also describes the design as Mil-Spec drop test rated, reinforcing its role on working rifles rather than range-only builds. With a 1.306 in. height above rail, it is configured to place the Compact ACOG at the intended optical height while keeping the overall profile compact.

About Trijicon

Trijicon was founded in 1981 by Glyn Bindon and is based in Wixom, Michigan, United States. In 1985, the company adopted the name Trijicon, combining the words tritium and icon, which reflects its long association with self-luminous and illuminated aiming systems. Trijicon develops optics for military, law enforcement, hunting, and shooting use, with product lines that include riflescopes, red dot sights, electro-optics, and iron sights.

The company is especially well known in this category because it introduced the ACOG riflescope in 1987, a product family that remains central to its reputation. Trijicon later expanded its influence in miniature reflex sights with the RMR in 2009. Across its optics range, the company uses illumination systems based on tritium, fiber optics, and LED technology, and its products are widely associated with durable, field-oriented aiming solutions.
