Thompson Center Powder Measure, U-View

• Visible powder level: The U-View design lets the user check the powder charge at a glance, which helps speed up loading and reduces guesswork when preparing black-powder charges in the field.
• Built for muzzleloader loading tasks: As a dedicated powder measure, it suits the routine handling of muzzleloader charges and fits naturally into a black-powder loading kit.
• Brass construction: The brass body gives the measure a traditional look and a durable feel that matches the character of muzzleloader accessories.
• Compact accessory format: This Thompson Center accessory is easy to carry with other reload supplies, making it practical for range sessions, hunting camps, and general muzzleloader maintenance.

About the Thompson Center Accessories Series

Thompson Center Accessories is a broad support line built around the needs of hunters and outdoor users. Within the brand’s catalog, the series covers practical carry and field-use items for firearms and binoculars, along with accessories intended for handling muzzleloader reload supplies. That makes the range less about one single shooting discipline and more about the equipment that keeps a day afield organized and efficient.

The series sits alongside Thompson/Center’s firearm and muzzleloader offerings as the utility-focused part of the lineup. Its products are arranged in categories such as slings and ammunition carriers, reflecting a design approach centered on transport, handling, and readiness rather than on the firearm itself. In practice, that means simple, purpose-built accessories that support loading, carrying, and field management. For muzzleloader users in particular, the series fits naturally into black-powder shooting, where dependable loading tools and compact carry items matter as much as the rifle once the hunt or range session begins.

About the Thompson Center Powder Measure, U-View

The Thompson Center Powder Measure, U-View is a straightforward muzzleloader accessory made for one of the most repetitive parts of black-powder shooting: managing powder charges cleanly and consistently. Its defining feature is the U-View format, which allows the powder level to be seen more easily during loading. In practical use, that visual reference helps the shooter confirm the charge more quickly, especially when working through repeated loading at the range or preparing carefully in hunting conditions.

The measure is intended for use as a powder measure, so its role is focused and easy to understand within a muzzleloader kit. Rather than adding complexity, it supports a smoother loading routine by giving the user a dedicated tool for charge handling. That kind of simplicity matters with black-powder equipment, where a clear, repeatable process is part of safe and efficient shooting.

The brass construction also suits the product well. Brass remains a familiar material in traditional muzzleloader accessories because it is durable, easy to handle, and visually at home alongside classic black-powder gear. The result is an accessory that fits both the practical and traditional side of muzzleloading: compact enough to carry with other reload supplies, specialized enough to earn a place in a working field kit, and easy to integrate into regular hunting or range use.

About Thompson Center

Thompson/Center Arms traces its firearms business to 1967 and is headquartered in Rochester, New Hampshire, United States. The company has long focused on firearms for hunters, shooters, and outdoor enthusiasts, with a history that includes muzzleloaders, black-powder accessories, interchangeable firearm systems, and precision rimfire rifles. That background makes the brand especially relevant in categories tied to traditional and modern muzzleloading equipment.

Over time, Thompson/Center became closely associated with platforms and product lines such as the T/C Encore and the Triumph muzzleloader family. Smith & Wesson completed its acquisition of Thompson/Center Arms on January 4, 2007, and Gregg Ritz acquired the brand in 2024.
