Both models in the series, the Cyclops 335L 3.0 and Cyclops 635L 3.0, share the same core design philosophy: a 0.5-inch AMOLED display with 1600×1200 resolution, a rubber-coated, ergonomic housing with a one-handed focusing wheel and thumb-operated buttons, and an integrated laser rangefinder built into the body without adding bulk. ThermTec AI Calibration is used across the series to keep the image stable and reduce shutter-induced freezing, while Thermal Super Resolution extends the usable zoom range beyond the base optical magnification.

The series differs primarily in sensor resolution and detection range: the 335L 3.0 uses a 384×288 sensor, while the 635L 3.0 steps up to a 640×512 sensor for a longer detection range and finer image detail. This sensor combination provides a detection range of up to 1800 m and delivers a noticeably sharper, more detailed thermal picture than the entry-level 335L 3.0, making it suitable for hunters and outdoor users who need to identify game or monitor larger areas of terrain with confidence.

The 35mm F0.8 objective lens provides a 2.6x base magnification and a 12.5° x 10° field of view, while continuous 1-4x digital zoom extends the effective magnification to 10.4x, supported by Thermal Super Resolution processing that preserves image detail at higher zoom levels. The 20mm eye relief and ±5D diopter adjustment allow comfortable viewing for a range of users, including those who wear glasses.

Images are shown on a 0.5-inch AMOLED display at 1600×1200 resolution, offering six selectable color palettes and dedicated Forest/Rainy image modes for different environmental conditions. A split-type laser rangefinder is built into the housing, providing distance readings up to 1000 m with an accuracy of ±1 m, so the user can range a target without reaching for a separate device.
