Spuhr Sauer Clamping Screws

• M5x16 Torx 20 screw format: The correct screw size and drive pattern helps maintain a secure, repeatable clamp on compatible Sauer mounts while making installation and replacement straightforward with the proper tool.
• Made for Sauer-compatible Spuhr mounts: This set is intended for SS models and SM-3002/3002B, so it matches the clamping hardware requirements of those mount families instead of relying on generic replacement screws.
• Steel construction: A steel screw set offers the strength needed for a critical mounting point, helping the mount stay properly tensioned under recoil and repeated handling.
• Four-screw pack with SS washers: The package provides a complete replacement set for the relevant clamp points, and the included washers help preserve proper fit between the screw heads and the mount.

About the Spuhr Accesories Series

Spuhr Accesories is the support range built around the company’s modular mounting ecosystem. The series covers the small but important parts that keep ISMS-compatible mounts adaptable in real use, from direct-interface adapters and compact rails to replacement hardware and specialized attachment components. A key idea behind the range is that a mount should do more than hold an optic; it should also provide a stable platform for adding secondary sights, indicators, illumination tools, or other mission-specific equipment without unnecessary bulk.

The series reflects Spuhr’s practical design approach. The Spuhr Interface uses a two-hole arrangement with dual conical parts to create a secure, repeatable attachment method, while other accessories extend compatibility through Picatinny sections or model-specific adapters. Across the range, the emphasis is on maintaining the mechanical integrity of the mount while giving the user a cleaner way to configure a rifle. That makes Spuhr Accesories especially relevant for precision shooting and professional rifle setups where small mounting details, replacement parts, and accessory placement all affect reliability in the field.

About the Spuhr Sauer Clamping Screws

Spuhr Sauer Clamping Screws are a dedicated replacement hardware set for Sauer-compatible Spuhr mounts, built around an M5x16 Torx 20 format and supplied as a four-piece set. Rather than using general-purpose screws, this kit is intended for the specific clamp geometry of SS models and SM-3002/3002B, which matters because mount hardware has to maintain consistent tension at one of the most critical interfaces on the rifle.

In practical terms, the correct screw dimensions help the mount clamp evenly and securely, supporting stable optic alignment and dependable retention under recoil. The steel construction is appropriate for this role because clamping screws are repeatedly tightened, loosened, and exposed to field use, so strength and thread durability matter more than saving a small amount of weight. The Torx 20 drive also gives a more positive tool engagement than simpler head types, which helps reduce the chance of slipping during installation or maintenance.

This set also includes SS washers, completing the hardware needed for a proper replacement. For shooters maintaining a Sauer dovetail mount, that makes the kit useful not only as a repair part but also as a sensible spare to keep on hand for service, rebuilds, or long-term upkeep of a working rifle setup.

About Spuhr

Spuhr i Dalby AB was founded by Håkan Spuhr in 2007 and is based in Löddeköpinge, Sweden. The company focuses on the design and manufacture of firearm optics mounts and weapon upgrade kits, with a reputation built around precise mechanical design and modularity. In 2010, Spuhr introduced the Ideal Scope Mount System (ISMS), a mount concept that combined secure scope mounting with integrated attachment points for accessories.

That approach remains central to the brand. Beyond scope mounts, Spuhr has developed products such as the SICS adjustable chassis system for bolt-action rifles and upgrade kits for platforms including the HK G3 and MP5. Across these categories, the company is known for engineering-driven solutions that emphasize repeatable alignment, robust construction, and practical integration of accessories around the optic and weapon system.
